With cheap flights and great hotel deals on offer, Indian divers and would-be divers are now travelling to other countries to broaden their scuba diving experience.

Indian Divers in the News
India is now on the rise financially and that is going to be reflected in seeing more Indians travelling abroad and pursuing scuba diving as a hobby. In fact, Indian divers are already making headline news; it was recently reported that 10-year-old Parth Sanghvi from Mumbai, became the world’s youngest scuba diver! His achievement came after he dived 12 metres underwater near Grande Island in Goa last month. Parth broke the earlier world record held by Egypt’s Natasha Turner. If this news is anything to go by then the world can expect to see many more keen Indian divers in the future.
