The nearest decompression chamber for divers is located very close by in San Pedro Town, just a few minutes from the resort. We recommend you take out your own diving insurance.
The dive boat is equipped with a medic first aid kit, emergency breathing oxygen (640 litres on local trips, 3,115 litres on offshore trips), life vests, VHF marine radio, cellphones, GPS and compass. A divemaster is provided for every 8 divers. The resort also has oxygen.
For non-diving related incidents the resort has its own in-house medic facility, with a doctor and dentist on call. The nearest hospital and police station are at San Pedro Town too, just 5 minutes from the Belizean Princess.

The resort has a safety box for guests' valuables in the reception area and there is a 24 hour premises security patrol. There is an emergency evacuation plan in place, with an airplane air-strip just 5 minutes away.
