The recently renovated rooms are elegant and stylish while still retaining that unique 'Hemingway' feel. At Turneffe Island Resort there are 20 seafront, en-suite guestrooms with unobstructed sea-views and patios. Each one has been tastefully decorated in its own unique style and has air-conditioning, fan and either one king size bed or a queen size and double bed. You can literally step out of you room and onto the islands white sandy beaches.
There are 8 deluxe rooms and 4 second floor superior rooms. The 8 stand alone cabanas are located a short distance away from the main part of the resort to provide a little more privacy.

Belize scuba diving with Turneffe Island Resort consists of 15 dives a week - 2 on Sundays, Mondays and Fridays, and 3 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The first dive is around 8.15 am, the second at 10.30 am and the last dive at 3 pm. Nitrox is available to certified divers. 1 night dive is included packages and usually takes place on a Thursday.
The resort operates 2 dive boats for local dive sites, carrying a maximum of 11 divers each. Both of the dive boats are 8m long and can develop up to 30 knots at maximum speed. As most of the dive sites are 10 to 15 minutes ride away, you will return to the resort after each dive where you can use the showers at the dive dock to rinse off. Coffee, tea and snacks are served in the restaurant.
There are also an additional 2 boats equipped to provide full day trips to the Blue Hole. These are PRO-43, with a max speed of 25 knots. Divers take a packed lunch and can rinse after each dive. Both these boats have a toilet facility and ladders.

Dive trips always include a divemaster, dive insurance, tanks, weights & weightbelts, towels and drinking water.
The dive centre holds a PADI Resort license and has guest scuba equipment storage stations, lockable drawers, rinse tank, camera table with dedicated rinse tank, a shower and first aid kit with 2 tanks of oxygen. Scuba equipment is available for hire the friendly dive staff will set up, carry and rinse your gear so you can just relax and enjoy the amazing Belize dive sites.
