The nearest re-compression chamber is in Suva on the main island of Viti Levu - approximately 100 km north of Kadavu. We recommend you have your own diving insurance that covers emergency evacuation.
All the dive boats carry full-feature first aid kits and oxygen. They are also equipped with evacuation procedures and local band radios. Additional oxygen is available back at the dive resort. 1 divemaster is provided for every boat, which carry a maximum of 10 divers each.
For non-diving emergencies there is a medical facility at Vunisea, Kadavu Airport. It takes 15 minutes by boat to get there.

Each bure has a personal safe and security patrol the premises. The nearest police station is 3 km away.
