The nearest re-compression chamber is in Suva on Viti Levu island, approximately 100 km north of Kadavu. Dive emergencies will be handled by a Medivac 30 minute helicopter ride. You should have your own diving insurance that covers emergency evacuation.
The dive boat carries emergency oxygen and also has a DAN oxygen unit and first aid. 1 divemaster is provided for every 4 divers. The resort's first aid room has over 8,000 litres of emergency oxygen.
For non-diving accidents there is a medical facility in Vunisea at Kadavu Airport. It takes 30 minutes to get there by boat. The nearest police station is at Vunisea too.
