There are 2 recompression chambers in Fiji and both are situated in the capital Suva. One is privately owned by a local hospital and the other is provided by the Fiji Diving Association. We recommend you have your own dive insurance, as Suva is 240 km away, or a 1 hour flight.
The dive boat carries emergency oxygen and a first aid kit. A divemaster is provided for every 6 divers.
For non-diving related accidents there is a medical facility in Waiyevo, 15 km from the resort.
The resort provides a safety box in reception. There is 24 hour security at Maravu and the nearest police station is 5 km away.
