Small and intimate with 20 elegant bure cottages, the Maravu Plantation Resort in Taveuni nestles among the coconut palms and spacious lawns of hibiscus, orchids and bougainvillea, in a former plantation, providing a real sense of local history.
The resort features include a white sandy beach (quite rare in Taveuni), swimming pool with waterfall, as well as Fijian meke dance and kava ceremonies. Maravu is one of the luxury choices on Taveuni. The resort is quiet, leafy and charming and provides a very peaceful Fijian island atmosphere.
