There are 2 recompression chambers in Fiji and both are on neighbouring Viti Levu Island in the capital Suva, 200 km or 45 minutes flight away. One is privately owned by a local hospital and the other is provided by the Fiji Diving Association. Namale Resort provides you with diving insurance.
The dive boat carries emergency oxygen and a first aid box. 1 divemaster is provided for every 4 divers.
For non-diving emergencies there is an on-site doctor and nurse, plus a hospital at Savusavu, 10 km away.

Each bure has its own personal safe for your valuables and there is a security guard on the premises 24 hours per day. The nearest police station is also 10 km.
