The nearest re-compression chamber is in Suva, 55 km or 1 hour to the east by road transport. We recommend you have and bring details of your own diving insurance.
The dive boat carries oxygen and a medic aid kit. It's also equipped with a VHF radio, GPS and depth sounder. 1 divemaster is provided for every 4 divers. There is more oxygen available if required back at the dive centre.
For non-diving accidents there is a local nurse on call 24 hours a day, and an international hospital 50 km away.
