The closest re-compression chamber is Rumah Sakit Sanglah (Denpasar Public Hospital), approximately 2½ hours evacuation time from the dive sites. While diving insurance is not mandatory we advise divers to have their own dive insurance policy - see our insurance programme for a competitive quotation.
1 divemaster is provided for every 4 divers. The dive boats have Emox (maximum 1 hour usage) onboard and more oxygen is available back at the dive centre. All DMs are trained oxygen providers.
Divers are required to have logged at least 50 dives to be able to dive Blue Corner due to the strong currents.
There is a clinic and small hospital in Jungutbatu Village, 200m from the guesthouse which is staffed by Indonesian doctors.
