The day starts with a pick up from your hotel in Manado at 7-8 am and transfer to the harbour. The boat departs around 8:15 am for the cruise out to the first dive site of the day. After your dive equipment has been set up, it is time for the dive (around 9 am) which usually lasts 45 minutes to an hour.

After your surface interval, dive 2 takes place at around 11:30 am and then it is time for lunch. You will visit one of the islands with a light lunch box or at one of the restaurants, depending on location. You will have time to relax, enjoy the sun and stroll on the beach. If you are doing 3 dives, your 3rd dive will take place following lunch around 2:30 pm. Afterwards the dive the boat starts to cruise back to the harbour in Manado arriving around 4:30 pm. You will then be transferred back to your hotel.

What makes this day trip unique?

We work with a daytrip provider that is a highly professional and experienced outfit, and a trusted name in scuba diving in Manado. They operate daily diving and snorkelling trips around the islands of Bunaken National Marine Park, as well as to the Lembeh Strait, Bangka Island, and along the Manado coastline.

Discover the crystal clear blue water, colourful, unspoiled coral gardens and schools of fish and turtles along the magnificent vertical walls of Bunaken, one of the world’s top dive destinations.

The Lembeh Strait is famous for its amazing muck diving conditions and it’s an area rich with life. You can see more macro subjects here than you ever dreamed possible. The area of Lembeh is rich in dark volcanic sand, which is responsible for the incredible marine life.

Bangka is another of the best diving options near Manado. You can dive on coral reefs, stunning underwater pinnacles, walls, caverns, sea grass, sandy bays, muck diving, all with a barrage of diversity waiting to entice you.

You might enjoy viewing our video library which shows some of the marine life you will encounter when diving in Bunaken and the Lembeh Strait.

All boats (taking up to 8 guests and with twin 40 HP engines) have shaded areas to relax, entry/exit ladders, life jackets, life rings, emergency O2, mobile phone communications.

Note: these scuba day trips listed above are available to qualified divers only. If you have non diving partner who would like to get a taste of Manado and its underwater world then we can also organize introductory dives and courses.

Your Additional Needs: through our partners we can also help you with hotel bookings and travel & diving insurance.
