The Black Marlin Resort has a hard coral house reef with sea grasses - ideal for spotting juvenile and unusual fishes, such as pipefish and ghost pipefish.
There are many secluded coves and beaches nearby, and a walking trail where you can watch out for hornbills and parrots.

All meals are served in the open-air dining area, overlooking the beach.
Meals available:
- Communal style, 2 or 3 dishes per meal
- Indonesian cuisine
- Grilled fish, seafood and fish cakes
- Chicken, rice, tofu and soups
- Vegetarian meals can be catered for, but only with advanced notice
- Complimentary drinking water, tea and coffee are available throughout the day
- Soft drinks, cookies and chocolate are available for purchase
