The nearest re-compression chamber is in Manado, 600 km away. There is no practical emergency evacuation possible other than helicopter airlift. This is an extremely expensive procedure. Black Marlin does not provide customer dive insurance, so we advise you take out your own suitable cover - see our insurance programme for a competitive quotation.
There is a very limited amount of breathing oxygen on board the dive boats and on site at the resort. 1 divemaster is provided for every 6 divers. Please dive safely, responsibly and well within your limits.
Black Marlin Dive Resort has a safety deposit box in reception. There is a police station and medical centre 5 km away in Wakai.
