The nearest re-compression chamber is at Malalayang Hospital in Manado, 45 km, or 1½ hours west, from the resort. We advise you to take out your own diving insurance - see our insurance programme for a competitive quotation.
Nomad Adventure Divers' dive boats have 2,400 litres of emergency oxygen and first aid kits onboard. There is an additional oxygen supply back at the resort. The nearest medical facility for minor injuries is Bitung Hospital, about 5 km away, or in Manado City for more serious accidents.
Fire extinguishers are located outside the Standard Rooms and in the Deluxe Bungalows.
Nomads Resort has a safety deposit box, free of charge, in reception. There is a 24 hour security guard service. There is a tourist police facility on the island and 10 minutes boat ride away.
