Destinations:
Taveuni, including the Vuna Reef or Rainbow Reef. No diving on day of arrival and the day of departure.
Resort diving includes:
Dives, boat rides to dive sites, shore dives (unlimited for 3 day dive package or more), experienced English-speaking divemaster (maximum 6 divers per DM), towels, tanks, weights and weight belts, scuba equipment (mask, snorkel and fins only), drinking water, soft drinks, hot drinks, snacks, diving tax.
Diving excludes:
Night dives (approx. US$ 135 per dive, minimum 4 divers required), scuba equipment (BCD, regulator and short wetsuit, approx. US$ 41 per day), dive computer, dive insurance. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival.
Resort accommodation includes:
Bed, breakfast, drinking water, soft drinks, hot drinks, snacks, complimentary use of snorkeling equipment, kayaks and sailing dinghys, taxes.
Accommodation excludes:
Lunch, dinner, alcoholic drinks, return transfers from Taveuni airport to jetty (approx. US$ 20 per car per way), return transfer from Taveuni jetty to resort (approx. US$ 44 per person per way), internet access. If you are a single person it is compulsory to pay for a single supplement. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival.
How to get there:
Sau Bay Fiji Retreat is situated on the North Eastern coast of Vanua Levu; about 25 minutes by boat from the jetty on Taveuni. You can take one of the short daily flights to Taveuni from either Suva or Nadi Airport on Viti Levu, or from Savusavu Airport in Vanua Levu. Add-on package:
If this is your only planned visit to Fiji then we strongly recommend that you consider a 2 night add-on stay at the Uprising Beach Resort, Pacific Harbour on Viti Levu, to allow you to witness the not-to-be-missed shark feed diving. This option is also convenient as it is located close to both the international gateway airports in Fiji - Nadi and Suva.
