Prices (per person) normally include:
Khao Lak hotel to/from boat transfers, lunch, soft drinks, weights and weight-belts, tanks, divemaster, and taxes. National park fees (for all sites except the Boonsung Wreck) of approx. US$ 18 per person per day are not included. There are no hidden extras in the trip prices quoted to you.
Non-divers and snorkellers US$ 81 per day.
Full sets of rental dive equipment US$ 15, computers US$ 8 per day.
Day trip specifics:
Our Khao Lak scuba diving and resort options run from November through to April. From Khao Lak you can go diving in the Similan Islands, Koh Bon and Koh Tachai islands, as well as the Boonsung Wreck. For more information on these dive sites, visit: Khao Lak dive sites.
We offer is by 2-tank dive boat day trips from the nearby pier at Tap Lamu. Lunch and soft drinks are served during the trips. For the Similan Islands, the dive boat used takes a maximum of 30 divers, with qualified divemasters provided for every 6 divers. For all other Khao Lak dive destinations the vessel used is a high speed catamaran for a maximum of 15 divers, and divemasters are provided for every 5 divers.
Please wait for your pick up in your hotel reception area at 08:30 hrs; the boat returns around 17:00 hrs, but times vary depending on the destinations visited. Boat journey times range from 1½ to 2½ hours.
We offer scuba trips on only the best daytrip dive boats available in Khao Lak, both in terms of comfort and service. The Similan dive boat is a 20m+ wooden monohull and features a dive platform with steel ladders and kit up area, showers, toilets and rinse tank, indoor saloon area, sundeck and shaded area. The high speed catamaran has steel ladders and kit up area, a toilet and rinse tank and shaded area. Both boats have emergency oxygen, liability insurance and evacuation procedures, ship-to-shore radio and mobile telephone contact.

There are 2 re-compression chambers on nearby Phuket Island. We recommend divers have their own dive insurance policy - see our insurance programme for a competitive quotation. For non-diving accidents, there is a provincial hospital in Phang Nga Town, and several private international hospitals in Phuket.
