This person will be a key member of our management team with the option to become a shareholder in the business. Their key function will be the continued strategic development of the organisation and its expansion into new destinations.
The marketing manager will be responsible for:
- Planning and creating effective and innovative strategies to stimulate business and increase revenues
- Enhancement of the Dive The World global brand
- Ensuring that Dive The World websites become the media of choice for dive travel consumers seeking diving opportunities and information
- Generating business through the web as well as more traditional marketing initiatives
- E-marketing
The right person for this role will possess the following characteristics:
- Sound marketing strategy knowledge and experience, preferably gained in a web based environment
- Familiarity with the hardware and software necessary to achieve corporate goals
- A high level of commercial awareness
- Strong English language skills with a second language as an advantage
- The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously as needed
- A flexible approach with a "can do" attitude
- Good communication skills
- An interest in scuba diving
- The ability to be based in South East Asia, at least in the short term
