Daytrip prices normally include:
Phuket hotel transfers (Patong Beach, Kata and Karon areas only), breakfast, lunch, drinks, dives, weights and weight-belts, tanks, professionally qualified divemaster (free private guides for groups of 2 or more divers on day trips to Racha Yai, Racha Noi or Phi Phi Islands), shared accommodation on overnight trips, and taxes.
Prices exclude:
Full set of rental scuba equipment US$ 20 and dive computer US$ 9 - both per day and payable in advance, dive insurance, Similan National Marine Park fees of about US$ 20 per day, private divemaster for individual diver US$ 51 per day. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival.

Non-divers and snorkellers from US$ 78 per day.

Day trip specifics:
Our Phuket scuba diving and resort options here run throughout the whole year. From Phuket Island you can go diving in the Similans, as well as Phi Phi Islands and the 30 of so different local sites. For more information on these dive sites, visit: Phuket dive sites.

We offer 2- and 3-tank dive boat trips from Chalong Bay in Phuket, or Tap Lamu in Khao Lak. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments (drinks, tea and coffee) are served during the trips. The diving boat takes a maximum of 25 divers, and qualified divemasters are provided for every 4 divers.

Please wait for your pick up in your hotel reception area at 07:30 hrs; the boat departs at 08:15 hrs and returns around 17:00 hrs, but these times do vary depending on sites visited and the number of dives in the day. Boat journey times range from 1 to 3 hours.

We offer scuba trips on only the best daytrip dive boats available in Phuket, both in terms of comfort and service. They share some similar facilities - 20+ metre wood hull, steel ladders on the dive platform, kit up area, showers, toilets and rinse tanks, indoor saloon, sundeck and shaded area. All the boats carry emergency oxygen, MFA kits, evacuation procedures, ship-to-shore radio and mobile phone contact.

There are 2 re-compression chambers on the island, one at Patong Beach, and the other in Phuket Town. We recommend divers have their own dive insurance policy - see our insurance programme for a competitive quotation. For non-diving accidents, there is a provincial hospital in Patong, or several private international hospitals in Phuket Town.

High budget:  Seaview Patong Hotel

This 4 star hotel is one of Patong's best, and is located at the quiet end of the beach that does not see much traffic, but just a few minutes from downtown Patong. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished with air-conditioning, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and private safe. There is a large outdoor pool, fitness centre and spa with sauna and massage. Reviews often include a mention of the quality of choice offered at breakfast, and this Phuket resort also allows you to choose between a number of restaurants.

Medium budget:  Thara Patong Beach Resort

This resort is situated just a short stroll from the beach, our Phuket dive centre, the bustling shops and lively night scene. All rooms have a balcony with garden view and feature air conditioning, minibar, tea/coffee maker and private safe. It is ideal for families and couples, and there are some rooms suitable for handicapped guests. Facilities include massage and spa, fitness centre and outdoor swimming pools including a children's pool. There are also 3 different restaurants and a pool bar. Many guests believe this resort to offer great value for money, particularly for the deluxe rooms.

Low budget:  Baan Nern Sai Resort

This is a small but very hospitable hotel, set on a hillside and with fabulous views over Patong Bay. The rooms are clean and tidy and, with air conditioning, broadband internet, daily newspaper, minibar and bathrobes, you might find you get more than you expect from a hotel at this range of price. Go for a swim in the pool, have a drink at the poolside bar, shoot some pool, or use the massage and spa facilities to soothe away the stresses after a day out scuba diving Phuket. They also offer airport and beach shuttles, so if you are looking for a clean and quiet oasis not too far from the action of Patong then this hotel could be for you.
