Staying on holiday at Bastianos Bunaken Resort means you are in the professional hands of one of the best known names in North Sulawesi. Based on Dive The World customers' feedback, Bastianos Bunaken was awarded the 2012 Dive Resort of the Year. The property is long-established and sits in an ideal spot, right on Liang Beach in the centre of the island itself, with quick and easy access to all the great diving of the Bunaken National Marine Park.
One of the most attractive features of this resort is its affordability - with a range of accommodation, from cheaper hillside rooms to beachfront and air-conditioned rooms - making Bastianos the right place to stay for the budget conscious, but also a useful Bunaken option for those that expect comforts such as air-conditioning and hot water.
You can enjoy drinks at the beachside bar, or take in the great ocean views from the elevated and expansive lounge area, where you can make use of the free wifi internet, watch a movie or satellite TV, play a game of pool and enjoy the swimming pool. For those that need more dedicated relaxation therapy, there are a range of treatments such as massage, facials and reflexology available at the resort spa.
You can expect at least 3 boat dives a day, friendly and helpful staff, and a professional scuba operation to help you get the most out of the steep walls and big fish action that you'll find when diving in Bunaken. For the full North Sulawesi experience, you can also combine this resort with a stay at the Bastianos' sister property or another accommodation on the Lembeh Strait. Booking a combination vacation package at both these 2 resorts is a great plan from a diving perspective.
