The list of activities is what sets Uprising apart and includes jetskiing, wakeboarding, beach volleyball, hobie-cat sailing, as well as river rafting. Fiji Islands diving in Beqa Lagoon and the shark feed dive at Shark Reef are the 2 most popular pastimes. There is a swimming pool next to the large bar and restaurant, which can be a lively place especially at weekends when some of the young and beautiful of Viti Levu drop in to enjoy the beach bar atmosphere and mix with the guests. There is normally always something going on here such as beach volleyball or people riding horses along the beach.
There are 12 bures in 2 rows with half being beachside and half garden view. The entire resort is constructed using local materials and traditional techniques and consists only of single storey structures. The bures are good quality for a mid range resort and each has its own huge open-air shower.
There are other options in the area for those seeking peace and quiet but for the active and young (or young at heart), Uprising can be just the place for a fun and lively Fiji diving holiday.
