Situated in a beautiful water's edge location in the south of the island is Paradise Taveuni Resort, an excellent option for those seeking a slice of luxury and small Fiji dive resort charm.
There are 16 lovely bures of traditional Fijian design, built for couples/friends and families with modern and stylish interiors, and fully refurbished in 2019. The property is located in a secluded spot far from other resorts and manages to combine a feeling of being 'off the beaten track' with all the comforts you would expect from a higher end resort. The lawn and swimming pool run right up to the water's rocky edge, lapped by the clear waters of the Somosomo Strait where there is some wonderful snorkelling and diving just off the jetty.
Unlike other resorts in Taveuni, Paradise has easy access to Vuna Reef where there are several excellent dive sites, in addition to the sites of the Rainbow Reef. There is even an optional speedboat/jetski transfer service to make your arrival at the resort even more exciting.
The managers of Paradise Taveuni are available 24 hours a day, and the resort is owned and operated by an Australian team headed by an award-winning chef, so the menu is of paramount importance and is varied and imaginative. The resort, which opened in 2007, is staffed by a team of friendly and efficient Fijians who will provide massages, and maid services, as well as jetski and snorkelling safaris to Rainbow Reef. Comfort, style, remoteness and convenient diving are the secrets to Paradise in Taveuni.
