GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is legislation introduced by the EU in May 2018. It is the world's strongest set of data protection rules. It is applicable to any company that does business in the EU or that processes data of EU citizens.
As GDPR is the strongest set of data protection rules currently in existence, we use this standard for all our customers regardless of where they come from. GDPR legislation sets rules about how data can be collected and the rights of individuals over their personal data. These include:

The data collected should be limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed. We will only collect information from you that is necessary to process your inquiries and bookings. You may give us consent to collect further data that will assist us in making your booking and which may improve your diving experience.
Data Retention. Data should only be held for as long is necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected. We have a customer loyalty program that rewards repeat customers with discounts after a defined number of bookings. We will retain your data in order to manage the loyalty program and to facilitate your future bookings.
Transparent. You have the right to view the personal data we hold for you.
Accurate. We will make every attempt to ensure the personal data we hold for you is accurate. We will correct inaccurate information immediately we know about it.
Right to Erasure. You have the right to tell us to erase all the personal data we hold for you. If you make this request you accept that this is irreversible. You will lose any repeat customer benefits you have from our customer loyalty schemes.
Security. We commit to storing your data using modern software that is kept-up-to-date and has the latest security levels. Access to personal data shall be limited to personnel who need access and appropriate security will be in place to avoid unauthorised sharing of information.
