The family-run Volivoli Beach Resort is set in a secluded location at the northern-most tip of the island of Viti Levu. It is built in ocean-side tropical gardens, next to a white powder sand beach in an unspoilt and stunning part of Fiji, atop a hillside to take advantage of the stunning sea views.

and Bligh Water (Diving environment: drift diving, healthy reefs, advanced divers, off the beaten track; Highlights: schooling fish/big pelagics) - Local diving for all levels includes colourful reef flats, pinnacles and canyons all featuring vibrant soft corals. The more distant sites of Bligh Water, considered among Fiji's best, are dived most days, weather permitting. No scuba on days of arrival and departure.
Resort diving includes: Dives (as selected from the package above), unlimited self-guided shore dives (only for packages with 5+ diving days), boat rides to sites, experienced English-speaking divemaster (maximum 8 divers per DM), drinking water, hot drinks, tanks, weights and weightbelts.
Diving excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Scuba equipment (US$ 35 per day). Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash or credit card).
Optional extras: Extra day and night dives (minimum 4 divers), dive computer, 15 litre tank (US$ 8 per day), diving insurance, nitrox for enriched air-certified divers, soft drinks. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival. Note: prices of items purchased on site are subject to change.
Resort accommodation includes: Bed, breakfast, dinner, drinking water, VAT on package prices.
Accommodation excludes (mandatory): Xmas Dinner surcharge (adults only) US$ 26 , payable in advance.
Single Supplement: There are no discounts on room rates for single travellers for the sole occupancy of double/twin accommodation.
Optional extras: Lunch, alcoholic drinks, roundtrip transfer from Nadi Airport to resort (US$ 370 for 1-4 passengers, US$ 455 for 5-9 passengers). Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival.
How to get there: Volivoli Resort is located nearby Rakiraki village on the northernmost tip of Viti Levu, Fiji's main island. It is 2.5 hours scenic drive from Nadi International Airport. Taxis and buses are available from the airport. Alternatively, we can arrange for the resort to collect you. For more details see our Viti Levu travel information section.
Dive clubs and group discounts: Pay for 10 guests and 2 extra persons can join free of charge.
Add-on package: If this is your only planned visit to Fiji then we strongly recommend that you consider a 2 night add-on stay at Pacific Harbour on Viti Levu, to allow you to witness the not-to-be-missed shark feed diving. This option is also convenient as it is located close to both the international gateway airports in Fiji - Nadi and Suva.

Volivoli Resort offers a range of accommodation to suit guest requirements and they all are comfortable and tastefully furnished. The top of the range option are the 4 beachfront Luxury Ocean Front Villas. These are suitable for 4 adults or a family and have their own private swimming pool, king size bed, sofa bed, kitchen with washing machine, toiletries for two. There is also a 2 bedroom Family Villa with 2 large bedrooms with king size beds and private ensuites, and 2 additional single beds in the lounge area, in-room safe, and WiFi throughout (additional cost).
There are 11 Premium Ocean View Villas that have a queen-sized bed, 2 sofa beds, washing machine, air-conditioning and ceiling fan. These are ideal for honeymooners.

Diving Details...
The fully certified PADI and SSI scuba centre at Volivoli is run by Ra Divers. It was established in the 1980s and is one of Fiji's longest running diving operations. The staff our renowned for their local knowledge and expertise and offer safe and well-equipped services on Viti Levu for an outstanding diving holiday in Fiji.
They offer over 50 sites most of which are just 20 minutes boat ride away from the resort. You can enjoy 2 or 3 boat dives per day and unlimited shore dives.
A typical dive day starts at 8 am and includes 2 dives to explore one of the many reefs in the area or fascinating nearby shipwrecks. After the first dive, fruit, biscuits and cake are served along with drinking water and guests can enjoy a fresh water shower. The surface interval is followed by a second dive.
Ra Divers have 4 dive boats all equipped with marine radio, GPS and cell phones while emergency oxygen, marine first aid kits, flares, markers and life jackets are stowed onboard.
Some of Volivoli's most popular dive sites are the fascinating wrecks of the Papuan Explorer and the Ovalau. The thrilling 'Breathtaker' deep reef site boasts an awesome display of large fish, white tip, black tip and grey reef sharks.
The dive centre is equipped with rinse tanks and showers. All equipment is carried and washed daily by the resort's divemasters.

Volivoli Beach Resort's Nuku Bar and Grill is a pool-side open-air restaurant that serves breakfast from 7.30 am until noon and other meals are available all day. The menu is inspired by local Fijian cuisine, and is influenced by Indian and other nearby Asian dishes, and ingredients are sourced locally from organic farmers.
A varied range of snacks and main dishes are available, and daily specials include plantain filled with pate and poached with coconut milk, locally-caught prawns, or dalo gnocchi.
Breakfast choices include: full buffet of fresh eggs, home-made toasted bread, sausage, bacon; savoury omelettes and tasty breakfast burritos; fruit platter of papaya, pineapple, banana, passionfruit, rambutan: fruit juices, cereals, coffee and tea.
There is also the beachfront Ra Bar, the best place for an ice cold beer or cocktail, and finger foods and casual favourites such as fish and chips, chicken sandwiches, French fries, or hot dogs.
Special dietary requests can be catered for with advanced notice.

The nearest re-compression chamber is in Suva, 4 hours drive south. However, there is an emergency helicopter service available which can land at Volivoli. We recommend you have and bring your own dive insurance.
The boats and dive centre each have a first aid kit, oxygen, and a cellphone. 1 divemaster is provided for every 6 divers.
For general medical emergencies there is a hospital 15 minutes drive away at Rakiraki.
