Volivoli Beach Resort offers a range of accommodation to suit guest requirements and they all are comfortable and tastefully furnished. The top of the range option are the 4 beachfront Luxury Ocean Front Villas. These are suitable for 4 adults or a family and have their own private swimming pool, king size bed, sofa bed, kitchen with washing machine, toiletries for two. There is also a 2 bedroom Family Villa with 2 large bedrooms with king size beds and private ensuites, and 2 additional single beds in the lounge area, in-room safe, and WiFi throughout (additional cost).

There are 11 Premium Ocean View Villas that have a queen-sized bed, 2 sofa beds, washing machine, air-conditioning and ceiling fan. These are ideal for honeymooners.

The Vale Balavu building has 9 Deluxe Ocean View Rooms with twin queen-sized beds, air-conditioning, fan, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, deck chairs, writing desk and WiFi (additional cost).

The fully certified PADI and SSI scuba centre at Volivoli Beach Resort is run by Ra Divers. It was established in the 1980s and is one of Fiji's longest running diving operations. The staff our renowned for their local knowledge and expertise and offer safe and well-equipped services on Viti Levu for an outstanding diving holiday in Fiji.

They offer over 50 sites most of which are just 20 minutes boat ride away from the resort. You can enjoy 2 or 3 boat dives per day and unlimited shore dives.

A typical dive day starts at 8 am and includes 2 dives to explore one of the many reefs in the area or fascinating nearby shipwrecks. After the first dive, fruit, biscuits and cake are served along with drinking water and guests can enjoy a fresh water shower. The surface interval is followed by a second dive.

Ra Divers have 4 dive boats all equipped with marine radio, GPS and cell phones while emergency oxygen, marine first aid kits, flares, markers and life jackets are stowed onboard. Dive trips include divemasters (1 guide for every 6 divers), tanks, weights, drinking water, fruit, and snacks, 1 towel per person.

Some of Volivoli's most popular dive sites are the fascinating wrecks of the Papuan Explorer and the Ovalau. The thrilling 'Breathtaker' deep reef site boasts an awesome display of large fish, white tip, black tip and grey reef sharks.

The dive centre is equipped with rinse tanks and showers. All equipment is carried and washed daily by the resort's divemasters.

Dive safety: The nearest re-compression chamber is in Suva, 4 hours drive south. However, there is an emergency helicopter service available which can land at Volivoli Beach Resort. We recommend you have and bring your own dive insurance.
For general medical emergencies there is a hospital 15 minutes drive away at Rakiraki.
Volivoli Resort has everything you need for the perfect Fiji dive holiday with high quality accommodation, beautiful ocean-side surroundings and a large swimming pool. Resort experiences include a dolphin safari, Fijian cookery classes, a trek to Nabalasere to see the biggest, and most spectacular, waterfall in the country – Savulelele - found within the newly-launched Nabalasere Ecotourism Forest Park; a sunset cruise onboard a catamaran at golden hour, to cruise the peaceful waters encompassing the surrounding islands, Listen to some good tunes, snack on canapes served by the on-board steward, and sip free-flowing champagne and beer as the sky turns from a vibrant coral colour to burnt orange and fiery red.

In the evenings after dinner, the staff put on a cultural entertainment show featuring traditional Fijian dancing, kava ceremonies and fire performances. You can party until late or relax by the bonfire on the beach under the stars.

For casual post-dive refreshment, the beachfront Ra Bar provides a more laid-back atmosphere. Here, guests can enjoy an ice-cold beer, a signature cocktail, and simple, satisfying fare like fish and chips, chicken sandwiches, French fries, or hot dogs directly on the sand.

Sample meals: Fijian kokoda or Ika Vakalolo; Japanese chicken karaage, fresh sushi and sashimi platters; Indian chicken curry and spicy dahl soup; nasi goreng, spicy noodle salad, burgers, steaks, schnitzel, fresh salads, fish tacos, ocean fresh locally caught fish.

Bligh Water (Diving environment: drift diving, healthy reefs, advanced divers, off the beaten track; Highlights: schooling fish/big pelagics) - Local diving for all levels includes colourful reef flats, pinnacles and canyons all featuring vibrant soft corals. The more distant sites of Bligh Water, considered among Fiji's best, are dived most days, weather permitting. No scuba on days of arrival and departure.

Resort diving includes:  Dives (as selected from the package above), unlimited self-guided shore dives (only for packages with 5+ diving days), boat rides to sites, experienced English-speaking divemaster (maximum 8 divers per DM), drinking water, hot drinks, tanks, weights and weightbelts.
Diving excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own):  Scuba equipment (USD 50 per day) to be paid in advance. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash or credit card).
Optional extras:  Extra day and night dives (minimum 4 divers), dive computer, 15 litre tank (USD 8 per day), diving insurance, nitrox for enriched air-certified divers, soft drinks. How to get there:  Volivoli Beach Resort is located nearby Rakiraki village on the northernmost tip of Viti Levu, Fiji's main island. It is 2.5 hours scenic drive from Nadi International Airport. Dive clubs and group discounts:  Pay for 10 guests and 2 extra persons can join free of charge.

Add-on package:  If this is your only planned visit to Fiji then we strongly recommend that you consider a 2 night add-on stay at Pacific Harbour on Viti Levu, to allow you to witness the not-to-be-missed shark feed diving. This option is also convenient as it is located close to both the international gateway airports in Fiji - Nadi and Suva.
