How your day unfolds:
A typical dive day starts at 8 am and includes 2 dives to explore one of the many reefs in the area or fascinating shipwrecks. Most of the best sites are no more than 20 minutes by boat from the launch point. After the first dive, fruit, biscuits and cake are served onboard along with drinking water and guests can enjoy a fresh water shower. The surface interval is followed by a second dive. On a 3-tank dive day a picnic lunch is served near one of the local tropical islands or a nearby beach.

Why Dive at Bligh Water?
Rakiraki is part of Bligh Water, one of the best diving regions in Fiji, and the reefs are some of the healthiest in the world, with very little pollution and few boats. Vertical drop-offs such as those at E6, Mellow Yellow, Purple Wall are also covered in colourful corals, sponges, and sea fans. Due to strong currents and deep channels, Rakiraki can attract larger marine life such as reef and silvertip sharks, schools of barracuda and trevally, tuna, mackerel, and occasional eagle rays. Manta rays can also be potted near Vatu-i-Ra Channel from July to October. Some of the most popular dive sites are the fascinating wrecks of the Papuan Explorer and the Ovalau. The thrilling 'Breathtaker' deep reef boasts an awesome display of large fish, whitetip, blacktip and grey reef sharks. But there are plenty of easier sites too, making the region suitable for divers of all experience levels.
The dry season from May to October has the best visibility (30m+) but cooler water (~24–26°C). The rainy season from November to April has warmer water (~28–30°C), but occasional plankton blooms (good for mantas!).
