Sea Queen I is a popular Egypt liveaboard, cruising the best dive sites of the Red Sea. Built by the Russian Navy in 1988, this 45 metre steel hull vessel has been fully restored and renovated and can accommodate up to 24 guests in en-suite cabin comfort and style.

A range of 1-week cruises are offered departing on Saturdays and include North and Wrecks, the Brothers, St John's and Marine Parks North and South - plenty of choice even for the most discerning scuba diver.

After an exciting day's diving, guests can socialise in the air-conditioned, comfortably furnished saloon and dining area equipped with a TV, DVD player and movie library. There are also a range of marine and dive books for you to use to identify all the marine life you have encountered. Other places to relax include the covered open air lounge area on the main deck and the sun deck which is partially shaded and has sun chairs and loungers for your comfort.

With a top speed of 14 knots, the Sea Queen I will get you to your destination swiftly and safely. Divers will appreciate the generous size of the dive deck with its individual storage spaces, and the 2 attending dinghies will ensure easy access to the sites. What's more, free nitrox is provided for certified divers.

The Sea Queen I is a professionally-run Red Sea liveaboard and is ideal if you're looking for a fun, social atmosphere on your Egypt diving cruise.

The ample space of the Sea Queen I accommodates 24 divers in 10 Standard cabins. There are 6 twin bed and 2 triple-bed cabins on the lower deck, plus a further 2 triple-bed cabins on the main deck. The cabins all have private en-suite bathrooms.

A pre-breakfast is served before the first dive of the day to give you a little energy boost. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are also included daily and are served buffet style. The menu consists of international dishes as well as local specialities of the Red Sea and BBQ treats, and there is plenty of choice and quantity. Alcohol is not available for purchase onboard but guests are welcome to bring their own.

Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinking water, hot drinks, soft drinks, airport transfers, dives (as detailed in the cruises above), experienced English speaking DM's (1:8/12), tanks, weights and weightbelts, nitrox fills for enriched air certified divers.

Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Scuba equipment, dive insurance, fuel surcharge national park and other fees. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash only).

Optional extras: Alcoholic drinks, dive computer, torch. Unless otherwise stated, these items to be paid on arrival.

How to get there: MY Sea Queen I departs from Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh or Marsa Alam and return transfers are included from Hurghada, Sharm and Marsa Alam airports to the departure point. The first night will be spent in the harbour and the last night may be spent at a hotel depending on the cruise.
There are direct flights from Cairo to Hurghada (1 hour), Sharm El Sheikh (1 hour) and Marsa Alam (1.5 hours) via Egypt Air. For more information see our Red Sea travel information. The last dive of the trip will be at around 1.00 pm on the second last day of the trip. Please wait at least 18 hours before flying after diving.

Non-diver rate: None.

Single supplement (if you do not want to share accommodation): This is optional - single travellers may choose to share a cabin or pay a supplement of 50% of the published price.

Dive clubs and group discounts: Pay for 12 guests and 1 extra person can join free of charge. Pay for 17 guests and 2 extra persons can join free of charge.

Whole boat charter rate (per night): Pay for 20 guests and 4 extra persons can join free of charge.
