The delightful "Steve and Becky's" is a cute little hotel set in a lush, tropical tree garden near San Pedro town, and is just steps away from the beautiful palm-fringed beach.
Owned and run by Ramon's Village Resort, Steve and Becky's is located next door in its own private setting complete with a little pool to cool off in. Guests can make full use of all Ramons' charming beach-side facilities such as the swimming pool, free wi-fi, a highly regarded restaurant and fun, friendly bar.
Their PADI 5-Star IDC Resort facility is one of the longest-standing and most respected dive operations on Ambergris. The team of professional staff are experienced and enthusiastic and aim to make your Belize diving vacation an easy and satisfying one.

Destinations:
2 tank dives daily along the Belize Barrier Reef (Diving environment: beginner divers; Highlights: turtles, non-diving activities ) at sites such as Amigos Wreck, Mexico Rocks and Cypress Gardens. Full day 3 tank scuba trips to the Blue Hole (Diving environment: caverns, advanced divers; Highlights: ), or
Turneffe Atoll (Diving environment: wall diving, healthy reefs, beginner & advanced divers; Highlights: turtles, schooling fish/big pelagics) are available at an extra charge. No diving on days of arrival or departure.
Resort diving includes: Dives (as detailed in the packages above), boat rides to sites, experienced English-speaking divemaster (maximum 8 divers per DM), tanks, weights and weightbelts, drinking water and taxes.
Diving excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Scuba equipment (US$ 53 per day). Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash or credit card).
Optional extras: Extra day and night dives, dive computer, nitrox fills for enriched air certified divers (US$ 17 per tank), diving insurance, soft drinks, hot drinks, snacks. Prices for special trips are payable in advance. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival. Note: prices of items purchased on site are subject to change.

How to get there: Steve and Becky's is located in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, 43 km from Belize City. In order for you to get to this destination, it is necessary for you to purchase a return flight ticket from Belize City to San Pedro. Flights can be arranged by the operator. Diving Details...
The diving operation is run by neighbouring Ramon's Village Resort and is a PADI 5-Star IDC facility with a great reputation. Local dive trips depart at 9 am, 11 am, and 2 pm each day, returning after each dive. Night diving can also be arranged.
The Belize Barrier Reef is close by and most dive sites are accessed within 20 minutes, whilst The Blue Hole along with Lighthouse and Turneffe atoll reefs and Belize's other top spots, are all easily reached with the resort''s larger dive boat.
The Pro 42 foot (13m) dive boat has a partially enclosed flybridge and marine head cabin. It is powered by twin 350 HP Cat engines and jet drives. Ramon's also has 3 x 10m and an 1 x 8.5m fibreglass skiffs with canopies and twin 100-150 HP outboard engines. Trips include a divemaster, tanks, weights & weightbelts and drinking water. Full day trips to Turneffe and Lighthouse reefs include light breakfast, lunch, snacks and juice.
The dive centre's fully qualified PADI instructors, divemasters, and shop - stocked with a nitrox facility, underwater camera hire and top notch diving gear for sale or rent - ensure your Belize scuba diving vacation is world class. All meals are served over at Ramon's, which has an excellent restaurant with a fantastic reputation on the island. There is a wide choice of dishes on its menu, from international favourites to local specialties and Cajun food. The weekly beach BBQ and Sunday buffet are popular occasions.

The 'Pineapple Boat' is a pineapple shell filled with a shrimp fried rice. The pineapple fruit is cut into chunks and marinated in a sauce with onions that gives it a sweet and spicy effect.
'Steak on a Stone' - a choice of steak fillet, shrimp and chicken or any combo of the 3, with a garden salad and jacket potato. The meat and vegetables are cooked by the diner at their table on a hot lava stone.
The Breakfast Plan includes coffee and juice and a choice of any entree on the breakfast menu. These include Fresh Fruit Platters, Pancakes, Waffles, Eggs Your Way, and Omelettes. It also includes any of the daily breakfast specials.
There are also other dining choices near the holiday resort too, in San Pedro Town.

The nearest decompression chamber to Steve and Becky's for divers is located very close by in San Pedro Town, just a few minutes from the resort. We recommend you take out your own diving insurance.
The dive boat is equipped with a medic first aid kit, emergency breathing oxygen (640 litres on local trips, 3,115 litres on offshore trips), life vests, VHF marine radio, cellphones, GPS and compass. A divemaster is provided for every 8 scuba divers. The resort also has oxygen.
For non-diving related incidents the resort has access to an in-house medic facility, with a doctor and dentist on call. The nearest hospital and police station are at San Pedro Town too, just 5 minutes from Steve and Becky's.
