Ramon's Village is a little slice of tropical paradise on Ambergris Caye, a locally run resort consisting of 61 multi-room suites and thatched-roof cabanas. Beachfront, Seaside and Jungle cabanas provide secluded hideaways for those who are ready for relaxation. Just metres away from the edge of the Belize Barrier Reef.

The resort is located on the beach and is centred around a lagoon-style pool, restaurant and the popular beach bar, all built with a touch of old-fashioned Caribbean charm. It is known for its fun and friendly atmosphere. Ramon's is just a couple of minutes walk in to town where you can find a lot of dining out options, bars, shops, even a night club or two, so many guests that stay here enjoy the mix of diving, good resort facilities, privacy and socialising.

Ramon's Village Resort is a PADI Gold Palm IDC Resort facility and therefore has a full staff of PADI dive professionals on hand. Most scuba diving at the resort takes place on the local Ambergris Caye sites but you can also expect daytrips to dive at Turneffe and Lighthouse reefs.

As the resort is close to town and the water taxi terminals, you can be back on the mainland in quick time to join a day tour to one of Belize many tourist attractions - Mayan ruins, manatee tours, cave tubing, zipline, the zoo. So staying at Ramon's means you can dive and tour Belize, all from the convenience of one modern beach side resort.

Customer reviews:

Customer rating - Excellent
"We did not use their equipment so I cannot comment on that. The boats were immaculate. The staff, especially Divemaster AC, were knowledgable and very helpful. The weather was very choppy so we had to dive close to the resort so that was disappointing, but out of their control. It's a very laid back vibe, no grumpy organizers, no ridiculously early departures. Just great." - , Canada, 8 December 2019 ...
