Ideally located right in the heart of Tulamben village is Bali's Tulamben Wreck Divers Resort. It is a very well run, comfortable option for those who do not need all the frills of a high end place to stay. This value-for-money feature is recognised in them winning the Dive The World 2011 Dive Resort of the Year. The rooms are clustered around a swimming pool, and a stroll through the reception area, past the complimentary internet terminals will bring you to the road that runs through the village.
The scuba diving is conducted in small groups and each room or group is assigned its own dive guide so the service is very friendly and personal. The famous Liberty Wreck is only a short stroll across the road to shore so it would be difficult to be closer to the best dive sites in the Tulamben area.
The resort facilities also include a laundry service, email and internet access as well as a continental breakfast. For lunchtime and evening meals you can choose from the many restaurants located nearby along the main (only!) road.
Tulamben Wreck Divers Resort is clean comfortable and is great value for money considering the alternatives in the same price bracket. A great feature of this vacation option is that you only need to pay a 20% deposit to secure your reservation, and you can pay your balance on arrival! It is also a very friendly resort as you might expect from its jovial Australian ownership. For singles or those on a budget, it is our recommendation for diving in Tulamben - Bali.

"We did our PADI open water dive with the operator and it includes all training, the equipment that was provided to us were of good condition and often checked each time before we embark on our scuba journey. The staff were all friendly and helpful and they were joyous to chat with. The instructor that was with us throughout, Erik Sanjaya was extremely patient, pro-active and excellent. Always provided tips on how to make our diving trip more memorable and were very accommodating.

"Staff at Tulamben Wreck Divers were very attentive and informative. The dive guides, especially Jaya, were very good and made sure you got good value for money on each dive. The guides are on commission and do an almost constant charming, but hard sell. If you have your own equipment, I'd recommend taking it as not all of the rental equipment was in good working condition (eg depth gauges and compasses were faulty and/or broken), rental wetsuits and boots weren't always available in your size etc.
