The M/V Scuba Adventure is a 23 metre Phuket liveaboard which operates 4 night dive safaris around the Similans, Surin and Richelieu Rock. Alternatively you can join overnight itineraries to Phi Phi during June to September. With a maximum of just 12 guests, you can be sure that you will be diving the best of Thailand in relatively small groups with a ratio of 1 divemaster to every 4 guests.

Cabins consist of twins and doubles with air-conditioning and shared bathroom facilities. Diving is easy from the dive deck which features 2 fresh water showers for quick rinsing and nitrox is available.

There is a saloon on the main deck and an open-air dining area on the upper deck where you can dine al fresco with views over the Andaman Sea. The saloon features TV, video and audio system plus there is a free Wi-Fi internet connection. Food is fresh, varied and plentiful and served buffet style. Note that these liveaboard trips depart from and return to Patong Beach, Phuket so there is no need for additional time-consuming minibus journeys.

There are 2 double bed cabins and 1 twin bunk bed cabin on the main deck and 4 more twin bunk beds on the lower deck of this Phuket liveaboard. Main deck cabins have windows, those on the lower deck have portholes. All cabins have shared bathroom facilities.

The menu on the Scuba Adventure is a varied mix of local dishes as well as international cuisine including Italian and European fare. All diets can be catered for including vegetarians but you must give prior notice.

Notes: Participants need to be at least Advanced Diver certified, except on the Phi Phi trip. Otherwise the Adventure Deep Dive to 30 metres at approx. (USD 46 per person) is mandatory on board.

Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation with air-conditioning, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinking water, hot drinks, return transfers to the boat from Phuket hotels in tourist areas (Kata, Karon, Patong), dives (as detailed in the trips above), experienced English-speaking divemaster(s) (6-7 divers per DM), tanks, weights and weightbelts, torches,

Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Scuba equipment and dive computer to be paid in advance, dive insurance, Similan, Surin and Koh Haa park fees at approximately USD 6 per day, with an entry fee of USD 15 per park, Burma National Park fee at USD 200 per person. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash or credit card).

Optional extras: Soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, nitrox fills for enriched air certified divers (USD 5 per fill: 25% discount on the fill price if you decide to do all the dives on nitrox), dive computer, towels. Adventure Deep Dive to 30 metres at approx. (USD 46 per person). Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash or credit card).

How to get there: Similan: MV Scuba Adventure's liveaboard safaris depart in the evening either from Chalong in Phuket or from Thap Lamu in Khao Lak. A minibus service from Kata, Karon and Patong beaches to and from the boat is provided. For more information see our Thailand travel information section. The last dive of the trip will be at around 10:00 hrs. Please wait at least 18 hours before flying after diving.
Burma: MV Scuba Adventure departs in the afternoon from Ranong. There are regular flights from Bangkok to Ranong. Alternatively you can fly to Surat Thani from where you can take a bus (3 hours) or to Phuket from where you can take a bus (5 hours). For more information see our Burma travel information section. Non-diver rate: 10% off the published price.

Single supplement (if you do not want to share accommodation): This is optional - single travellers may choose to share a cabin or pay a supplement of 50% of the published price.

Dive clubs and group discounts: See whole boat charter rate below; approximately equivalent to pay for 11 guests and 2 additional persons can join the cruise in a Twin bed cabin free of charge (total 13 guests).
