MV Sea of Fantasy is a 27 metre motor yacht that runs short trips to the Similan Islands from Khao Lak. A Maximum of just up to 13 guests can join 3 or 4 night cruises on this fun and friendly budget Similan liveaboard. Unusually for a boat in its class, you will find free nitrox for suitably-qualified divers.

All cabins are above deck meaning they feature windows and natural light. Single and Twin cabins have shared bathrooms while the 2 Master cabins have en-suite facilities. Most socialising is done in the open-air dining area on the upper deck of the liveaboard, where you will take your meals cooled by the sea breezes and against a backdrop of ever-changing Similans scenery. This is where the TV, DVD player and music system are located. The sundeck features chairs and mats and plenty of shading.

There is a spacious dive deck with plenty of room for all guests to gear up without feeling cramped. Space is maximised throughout the boat so it never feels too small. If you are on a budget or short of time, MV Sea of Fantasy could be the one to fulfil your Similan liveaboard dreams.

Sea of Fantasy has 2 Master double bed cabins with en-suite bathrooms on the upper deck. There are also 3 Twin bed cabins and 3 Single berth cabins on the main deck. These 6 cabins on the main deck share 4 bathrooms.

The dining experience on MV Sea of Fantasy starts each morning with a pre-breakfast before dive 1. This is followed by a cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks such as biscuits, toast, tea, coffee and drinking water are available throughout the day. The cuisine on this liveaboard is mostly international, with a number of tasty local Thai dishes included.

Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation with air-conditioning, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinking water, hot drinks, return transfers to the boat from Phuket hotels in tourist areas (Kata, Karon, Patong), dives (as detailed in the trips above), experienced English-speaking divemaster(s) (4-5 divers per guide), tanks, weights/weightbelts, nitrox fills for enriched air certified divers.

Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks, scuba equipment rental (USD 19 per day), dive computer, diving insurance, Similan and Surin park fees at approximately USD 6 per day, with an entry fee of USD 13 per park. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival.

How to get there: MV Sea of Fantasy I liveaboard cruises depart in the evening from Khao Lak. A minibus service from all hotels in Phuket or Phuket Airport to and from the boat is provided. For more information on how to get there see our Thailand travel information section.
