Launched in 2020, the M/Y Nirvana is a 40 meter long Bureau Veritas certified liveaboard yacht offering dive cruises in the Philippines. This means an unparalleled level of luxury and comfort, with an advanced steel hull design for superior stability leading to smooth sailings at a cruise speed of 12 knots.

22 guests and 13 crew can be accommodated in the spacious and well-appointed air-conditioned cabins which showcase panoramic views on the main upper decks. Each cabin has a TV with bluetooth connection for in-room entertainment, and an en-suite bathroom facility. The spacious dedicated restaurant on the main deck has added touches of class such as a state of the art coffee vending machine and a wine cooler. The galley offers amenities for personalized choices in food and beverages. All cruises in include free local beer and wine.

The Nirvana offers all the conveniences of home and more. Onboard you will find an extensive array of recreational facilities such as an air-conditioned lounge with a fully equipped media centre, a large upper deck and sun deck with fixed loungers, seating couches and Jacuzzi, and an 'al-fresco bar'. A full range of aqua-sports like kayaks and paddle boats are also available. With an ample beam of 9m, there is always plenty of space onboard.

Recognizing the special needs of divers, there is a spacious dive deck with personal spaces, cockpit style storage areas, fresh water cleaning tanks and 2 camera rooms with charging ports. There are also 2 bathrooms, plenty of shower heads, and an air-conditioned compressor room supplying both nitrox and air. Dives are usually made from the 2 x 6m 60 HP motorised RIBs. Functioning in an ecologically sensitive manner, Nirvana offers reef and ocean conservation programs and has a certified sewage treatment plant and fresh water makers for all guest and vessel needs.

More Trip Details...

Notes: Minimum age requirement is 4 years old. Children must be accompanied by a designated responsible adult at all times.

Dive experience: Tubbataha trips require minimum of 40 logged dives and advanced certification, all other trips require basic open water certification. Nirvana recommends all divers adhere to the recommendations made by their training agency regarding the completion of a SCUBA skills review before diving. Most agencies recommend a review if no diving has taken place for 6 months. This can be booked and made onboard if necessary. Evidence of the date of the divers’ last dive should be shown in a log book to avoid problems on check-in. Nirvana reserves the right to restrict diving activities if the instructor has any doubts about diver safety.

Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation with air-conditioning, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinking water, hot drinks, soft drinks, local beer and wine, transfers to and from the boat-local airport/hotels, port and park fees (Tubbataha trips only), dives (as detailed in the trips above), 4-5 experienced English speaking divemasters, tanks, weights & weight belt.

Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Scuba equipment rental (US$ 280 per 6 night trip), dive computer US$ 70 per 6 night trip, port and park fees (Visayas trips only: US$ 150), torch (US$ 55 per 6 night trip), surface marker buoy (SMB), fuel surcharge (US$ 100), diving insurance. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash or card).

Optional extras: Nitrox for enriched air certified divers (US$ 155 per 6 night trip), 15 liter tanks, other alcoholic drinks. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival.

How to get there: Nirvana departs from one of 2 ports:
Puerto Princesa: You are required to book a return flight to/from Puerto Princesa Airport (PPS) on Palawan Island. Domestic connections are possible from both Cebu and Manila.
Cebu Yacht Club: We recommend booking your international or domestic flight in to Mactan International Airport, Cebu (CEB).
For all routes, the operator will handle your local airport/hotel to boat transfers. Boarding begins at 2 pm. The boat leaves Puerto Princesa at 7 pm, or leaves Cebu at 4 pm. The last dive of the trip will be at around 2 pm. Disembarkation is 8-9 am. Please wait at least 18 hours before flying after diving.
