Tiliva is an eco-friendly dive resort nestled on the northeast coast of Kadavu Island. The Fijian style chalets sit just off a golden sandy beach and and have magnificent picture-postcard views across the bay. The resort is a family run affair surrounded by the typically rugged natural splendour of Kadavu.

Kadavu is off the beaten track from Fiji's mainstream tourist attractions and is an ideal location for taking a dive holiday offering spectacular scenery, a glimpse of everyday Fijian life and (often absent from our own lives) a bit of peace and quiet. The resort can only be reached by boat, and you'll find no cars here - you can relax in natural surroundings and forget about the modern world for a while.
All meals are included in our 5 packages, and the resort prides itself on freshly prepared food, including tropical fruits and native vegetables from the its own kitchen garden. Drinking water is drawn fresh from the local spring. There is also a fully licensed beach bar where you can enjoy a sunset drink (no alcohol if you're night diving!) and then dine overlooking the beach.
The guest accommodation at Tiliva Resort is self contained chalets (bures), having typical Fijian style high ceilings with full en-suite facilities, ceiling fans and private veranda. There are 5 Garden Bures set on the hillside, and 1 beachfront Honeymoon Bure.
All the bures are only yards from the white sandy beachfront with magnificent views across the bay to the island of Ono. All accommodations are serviced on a daily basis.
All the bures have:
Private bathroom with hot water shower, toiletries and towels
Tiliva Resort is situated just a quick 20 minute boat ride from the excellent dive sites of Kadavu's famous Great Astrolabe Reef.
The 150 HP twin-engine, purpose-built 9 metre fibreglass dive boat has room for 8 divers, with a steel entry ladder and a cruising speed of 25 knots. A dive guide and refreshments (fruits, snacks and plenty of drinking water) are provided on all trips.
Meet on the resort's beachfront at 08:30 hrs, from where the boat departs for 2 double-tank scuba trips returning in time for lunch. You can ask for afternoon dives, available at an extra charge. Night dives are also possible.
Snorkelling is possible in the shallow waters right from the beach in front of the resort.
Enjoy the local island cuisine with fresh tropical fruit and vegetables from the resort's own garden. In the evening, you can relax over a sundowner at the beach bar, and then choose a candlelit dinner on the restaurant veranda overlooking the beach or dine in the main building.
Guests at Tiliva can also watch their meals being cooked in a traditional Fijian underground oven (lovo).
