After a good night's sleep in your comfortable cabin, the diving will commence the next day at around 10-11 am.
Days 2-7
Expect up to 4 dives a day at the totally amazing Revillagigedo Islands. Socorro is best known for the wonderful encounters with giant pacific manta rays, where the mantas come to the divers and are happy to stay throughout entire dives. This isn't all you will see during a liveaboard boat trip to the Socorro Islands; there are massive schools of fish and up to 10 species of sharks including whale sharks, silkies, silvertips, whitetips and sometimes tiger sharks. Dolphin encounters are always thrilling, and from January through April these islands are home to a migratory population of humpback whales that come to breed and have calves. Whale sharks are seen mainly in November/December and April/May. Divers may also see bottlenose dolphins, wahoo, tuna, marlin and smaller creatures like eels, nudibranchs and octopus. Socorro is wild and unpredictable diving at its best!
The menu onboard is varied and plentiful, with a variety of Western and Mexican cuisine. You will wake up to fresh fruits, hot entrees, cereals and juices. Lunches are buffet-style, featuring hot soups, homemade breads, salads and sandwiches, burgers, pasta, and/or entrees. Dinners are chef prepared and served each evening, and include salads, vegetables, seafood, beef or chicken, BBQ ribs, with a fresh homemade dessert and ice cream. There will also be plenty of snacks mid-morning and mid-afternoon, such as cookies, cupcakes, brownie, cinnamon rolls, fruit. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know during the booking process and speak to the yacht chef once onboard so he can adequately prepare to meet your needs.
After the final dive of the day, the yacht sets off back to the marina.
