Destinations:
Savusavu - Barracuda Point, Dreadlocks, Dreamhouse, Nasonisoni Passage, Somosomo Strait. Dive trips to Taveuni or Namena Island may be possible for an extra fee - minimum 4 divers required for these trips. No scuba on days of arrival and departure.Resort diving includes: Dives, boat rides, use of all scuba equipment, experienced English-speaking divemaster(s) for maximum 4 divers (max. 10 passengers per boat) and full refreshments.
Diving excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): None.

Add-on package: If this is your only planned visit to Fiji then we strongly recommend that you consider a 2 night add-on stay at Pacific Harbour on Viti Levu, to allow you to witness the not-to-be-missed shark feed diving. This option is also convenient as it is located close to both the international gateway airports in Fiji - Nadi and Suva.

Namale has 6 Tropical Bures, 6 Honeymoon bures, 2 Deluxe Honeymoon bures, a Bula House and a Dream House. All have the highest quality luxury appointments. Local hardwood timber furnishings and high-varnish interiors have won several international accolades for the resort.

Tropical bures have a private garden. Each has an additional private deck and the bures are scattered around the beautiful tropical gardens reminiscent of a lovely Fijian rainforest.
Honeymoon bures have a private 2-person spa tub and ocean front deck. They are built on lava pinnacles with magnificent views of the beach and Koro Sea.
Deluxe Honeymoon bures have their own private plunge pool and the super-luxury houses are just exquisite (more details on request).

Diving Details...
The resort is situated in the centre of a string of dive sites stretching for 20 km along the Savusavu coast. The dive shop is a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm Resort and is very flexible and will accommodate up to 3 boat dives per day; night dives on request. The furthest site is 25 minutes away.
Regular day trips from Vanua Levu take you to Savusavu and Somosomo Strait.
The dive boat is a 10 metre twin engine mono-hull (max. 10 divers) with ladders, toilet and kit up area and waste storage tank. Staff will attend to your every need - just remember to breath for yourself!
Daytrips include use of all scuba equipment, qualified divemasters, diving insurance, park fees, lunch, coffee / tea, soft drinks and post-dive towels. You can bring anything you'd like from your room's complimentary minibar.

- A central hydrotherapy/aromatherapy room with a huge Jacuzzi on the cliff point surrounded by glass, over-looking the sea with treatment tables with 'his and hers' change and shower rooms
- A 'couples' (2 people) massage room with ocean views and a private Jacuzzi with, the romantic glow of candles. A salon for manicures, pedicures and treatments
- A meditation room with massage chairs
- A wet room for seaweed wraps and salt water treatments, etc

The food at Namale Resort can only be described as gourmet with every taste catered for. Each day there is a suggested menu with a delicious selection of dishes to choose from and this always allows for fish, meat or vegetarian dining. Dive Safety, Resort Security...
There are 2 recompression chambers in Fiji and both are on neighbouring Viti Levu Island in the capital Suva, 200 km or 45 minutes flight away from Vanua Levu. One is privately owned by a local hospital and the other is provided by the Fiji Diving Association. Namale Resort provides you with diving insurance.
The dive boat carries emergency oxygen and a first aid box. 1 divemaster is provided for every 4 guests.
For non-diving emergencies there is an on-site doctor and nurse, plus a hospital at Savusavu, 10 km away.
Each bure has its own personal safe for your valuables and there is a security guard on the premises 24 hours per day. The nearest police station is also 10 km.
