Seafari Explorer 1 is a modern 38m long twin-engine motor yacht that operates liveaboard expeditions throughout the Maldives. Witness the annual manta ray feeding frenzy at Baa Atoll, dive or snorkel with whale sharks at Ari, visit Felidhoo for grey reef and nurse sharks, or venture to the Deep South for hammerheads, silvertips, threshers and tiger sharks. The boat has an excellent safety record and the crew is highly experienced and create a great ambience onboard.

There are 12 comfortable guest cabins with en-suite private bathrooms onboard, including upper deck cabins with sea views. The restaurant serves up delicious buffet spreads of Western and Asian cuisine, and meals are enjoyed either in the back deck open air, or in the air-conditioned dining area. The 2 bars provide a comprehensive drinks menu, including juices, beer, wine, liquor, and even cocktails!

There is a Jacuzzi hot tub on the sun deck where guests can relax. The sun deck also has plenty of loungers for soaking up the sun, and the upper deck social area provides open air shade for guests. The main deck lounge is bright and really huge, due to the incredible 10m beam of Seafari Explorer 1. It has a Smart TV, a book library, card games, and internet is provided throughout the yacht.

All diving activities are conducted from the accompanying and spacious 24 metre dhoni dive tender, which can carry up to 28 divers (normal cruise capacity is 24). It houses the compressors and the nitrox system, the weights, and diver equipment boxes, which removes a lot of clutter and noise from the mothership. The dhoni has its own sundeck, shower heads and a toilet. Enriched air nitrox is provided free of charge for nitrox-certified divers.
