Day 1
Your diving week begins with late afternoon embarkation at Hurghada Marina (or Port Ghalib, depending on the trip schedule). Once onboard the Seawolf Dominator, you will receive a warm welcome, a comprehensive safety briefing, and then settle into your cabin before joining your fellow guests for dinner. The vessel departs in the early hours of the following morning.
Core Days
The core of this safari is dedicated to diving at the remote, legendary Brother Islands. These isolated oceanic mounts offer breathtaking drift dives along vertical walls, which are draped in brilliant soft corals and gorgonian fans. At Big Brother and Little Brother, divers should watch the blue for large pelagic fish, including schools of snapper and trevallies, which in turn attract scalloped hammerheads and the distinctive oceanic whitetip shark. Big Brother is also the resting place of 2 famous historical wrecks: the Numidia and the Aida II. These structures are beautifully colonised by decades of marine growth, creating stunning backdrops for photography.
The dive tour continues to the globally celebrated Elphinstone Reef, an exposed pinnacle known for its deep drop-offs and high chances of encountering ocean-going sharks and massive manta rays. We also explore other exhilarating wall dives like Abu Kafan and Shaab Ras Disha, renowned for their strong currents and frequent sightings of grey reef sharks and large schools of jackfish patrolling the periphery.
In contrast, the later part of the trip explores the diverse coastal reefs accessible by the Seawolf Dominator. Dive sites such as Small Giftun, Sha'ab Shona, and Abu Dabbab provide calmer conditions and excellent visibility. These locations showcase pristine hard coral gardens, where you can look for resident green sea turtles, dugongs, immense Napoleon wrasse, and an array of smaller creatures like frogfish, lionfish, and delicate nudibranchs. The Seawolf Dominator provides optimal access to this rich spectrum of Red Sea diving.
Day 8
After a final farewell breakfast, you will disembark the vessel and be transferred from the port.
Brothers & St. John's (8 Days / 7 Nights - 18 Dives)
Trip highlights: hammerhead sharks, shark action, dolphins, manta rays, dugongs/manatees, turtles, schooling fish & big pelagics
Diving environment: advanced divers, caverns, drift diving, healthy reefs, very popular, wall diving
Dive sites and activities: Big Brother, Little Brother, Numidia, Aida, Elphinstone, St. John's: Sataya Gota Kebira, Sataya Gota Soghayr, Habili Gaffar, Dangerous Reef, Habili Ali; Fury Shoals: Sataya, Malahi, Abu Diab, Shaab Maksour, Shaab Claudio, Abu Galawa
Day 1
Board at Port Ghalib and settle into your cabin. Unpack dive gear and get it set up on the dive deck. The Seawolf Dominator liveaboard is designed for smooth operations, so everything has its place. Once all guests are onboard, the cruise director runs a full boat briefing in the spacious, air-conditioned saloon. Dinner is served that evening, and the Seawolf Dominator slips its lines early the next morning, heading east into the deep Red Sea.
Core Days
The Brothers deliver big-animal diving at its finest. Big Brother and Little Brother rise from deep water, their walls dropping into the blue where hammerhead schools patrol and grey reef sharks work the current. The wrecks of the Numidia and Aida rest against Big Brother's slopes, now encrusted with soft corals and packed with glassfish, batfish, and the occasional turtle. Currents can run hard here, which only adds to the excitement. Drift along the wall, watch the pelagics cruise by, and keep an eye on your depth. Elphinstone, further south, shares a similar pedigree: oceanic whitetips are the main draw, bold and inquisitive, with mantas appearing during the warmer months. Reef fish thicken the water - surgeonfish, fusiliers, trevallies –- and the sheer walls are draped in gorgonians and black corals.
The crossing to St. John's feels like reaching a different world. The reefs here are among the most pristine in the entire Red Sea: hard corals in phenomenal condition, dramatic drop-offs, pinnacles, canyons, and tunnels carved through the limestone. Sataya Gota Kebira and Sataya Gota Soghayr are the twin peaks of the St. John's complex, offering walls that plunge into crystal visibility. Habili Gaffar and Dangerous Reef are exposed to open water, attracting reef sharks and the occasional manta. Habili Ali delivers classic St. John's terrain: swim-throughs, overhangs, and abundant marine life: barracuda formations, Napoleon wrasse, turtles, and sometimes dolphins hunting in the blue. The reefs are healthy and colourful, and the sense of remoteness is tangible.
Fury Shoals adds yet more variety. Sataya is famous for its resident spinner dolphin population, an ideal spot for a surface interval snorkel, watching the pods play in the shallows. Malahi offers maze-like coral formations and friendly turtles cruising the gardens. Abu Diab and Shaab Maksour are wall dives with excellent coral cover and plenty of reef fish. Shaab Claudio is a classic, with its signature swim-throughs and enormous porites corals that have grown for centuries. Abu Galawa Soraya features a fantastic coral garden and the wreck of a private sailing boat, now smothered in glassfish and surrounded by shoals of snapper. Across the whole route, expect up to four dives per day, with night dives where conditions and itinerary allow. The Seawolf Dominator's guides know these sites intimately, briefing each dive with precision on currents, entry points, and the marine life to look for.
The boat returns to Port Ghalib on the afternoon of the penultimate day, leaving time to log dives, pack gear, and enjoy a final evening on board.
Day 8
Enjoy breakfast before disembarking. Transfers are arranged to Port Ghalib Airport or a local hotel, depending on your onward plans.

Day 1
Your Red Sea diving adventure begins with late afternoon embarkation at Port Ghalib (or Hurghada). Once welcomed aboard the Seawolf Dominator, you will receive a full safety briefing, settle into your cabin, and enjoy dinner with your fellow divers. The vessel will depart in the early hours of the following morning.
Core Days
This safari focuses on three of the Red Sea's most legendary and remote dive sites: the Brother Islands, Daedalus Reef, and Elphinstone. Diving from the Seawolf Dominator liveaboard allows for prime access to these isolated locations, often leading to spectacular encounters.
The Brother Islands, Big Brother and Little Brother, rise from the ocean floor, featuring massive, current-swept walls covered in dense soft corals and spectacular gorgonian fans. These conditions are ideal for viewing pelagic life. Look out into the blue for large schools of snapper and trevallies, which attract predators such as oceanic whitetip sharks, as well as possible sightings of scalloped hammerheads and even thresher sharks. Big Brother also offers the opportunity to explore 2 famous historical wrecks, the Numidia and the Aida II.
Further south, Daedalus Reef stands as a colossal submerged pinnacle, home to an impressive Anemone City thriving with colourful clownfish. Daedalus is internationally renowned for its consistent aggregation of large marine life. Divers regularly encounter schools of scalloped hammerheads, alongside possible sightings of manta rays and rare whale sharks, particularly during the summer months.
The itinerary concludes at the world-famous Elphinstone Reef, where steep walls descend into the abyss. Early morning dives here are the best time to spot oceanic whitetip sharks patrolling the exposed corners. We also ensure time for shallower, highly biodiverse coastal dives at sites like Abu Dabbab and Shaab Shona, where you can find turtles, moray eels, and macro life, offering a gentler contrast to the offshore action. The Seawolf Dominator is your reliable base for navigating this epic route.
Day 8
After enjoying a final breakfast on board, you will disembark at Port Ghalib (or Hurghada).

Day 1
Board at Port Ghalib and settle into your cabin. Unpack dive gear and set it up on the dive deck; the Seawolf Dominator liveaboard is built for efficient operations. Once all guests are aboard, the cruise director runs a full boat briefing in the spacious, air-conditioned saloon. Dinner is served that evening, and the Seawolf Dominator slips its lines early the next morning, heading south into the deep Red Sea.
Core Days
Daedalus Reef is the first major stop, a remote lighthouse-topped pinnacle more than 80 kilometres offshore. Its isolation and protected status keep the reefs in outstanding condition. Vertical walls drop into the blue, draped in soft corals, gorgonians, and colourful sponges. Strong currents sweep the reef, attracting schools of trevallies, tuna, and sharks. Hammerhead sharks gather here in numbers, particularly during the summer months, and oceanic whitetips, thresher sharks, and grey reef sharks are also regular visitors . Manta rays appear on occasion. The north point offers dramatic drift diving along the wall, while the south point is the spot to look for thresher sharks in the blue.
Zabargad Island lies further south. This uninhabited island offers versatile diving: sheltered coral gardens on the southern side, and exposed walls with stronger currents on the outer edges. The highlight is the 75-metre wreck of a Russian Moma-class vessel, resting at 24 metres and now transformed into a thriving artificial reef teeming with glassfish, moray eels, and groupers. Turtles are common, and female green turtles visit the beaches to nest during summer. Rocky Island, just 6 kilometres southeast, is a legendary dive site. Its exposed location and small circumference create a very lively reef. Grey reef sharks and silvertip sharks patrol the drop-offs, with mantas and dolphins also possible. The walls are covered in vibrant soft corals, black coral trees, and massive sea fans, while crevices and ledges hide moray eels, scorpionfish, and nudibranchs . Currents can be strong here, advanced divers thrive on the drift action.
The return route north takes in Fury Shoals, offering a different character. Sataya Gota Soraya features a beautiful coral garden with large table corals, leather corals, and huge mountain corals. It is also a great spot for snorkelling with the resident spinner dolphin population between dives. Sha'ab Malahi is a maze of coral boulders and overhangs, perfect for exploring with a guide. Sha'ab Claudio offers excellent swim-throughs and large porites corals. Abu Galawa Soraya holds the wreck of a small sailing yacht sunk in 1980, now encrusted with soft and hard corals and home to glassfish, needlefish, and blue-spotted stingrays, an excellent night dive option. Gota Sharm delivers steep walls, plateaus, and cleaning stations where reef sharks, barracuda, and tuna gather. Abu Dabbab, closer to shore, offers a chance to dive with dugongs and giant green sea turtles, along with ghost pipefish, thorny seahorses, and the tiny hairy pygmy pipehorse.

Diving environment: advanced divers, caverns, drift diving, healthy reefs, very popular, wall diving
Dive sites and activities: From: Big Brother, Little Brother, Daedalus Reef, Safaga, Salem Express, St. John's, Elba Reef, Elphinstone, Fury Shoals, Abu Dabbab
Day 1
Board at Port Ghalib and settle into your cabin. Take time to unpack dive gear and get it set up on the dive deck. The Seawolf Dominator liveaboard is designed for efficiency, so everything has its place. Once all guests are aboard, the cruise director gathers everyone in the spacious, air-conditioned saloon for a full boat briefing. Dinner is served that evening, and the Seawolf Dominator slips its lines early the next morning, heading south into the deep Red Sea.
Core Days
The southern route is the Red Sea's classic big-animal playground, and the Seawolf Dominator liveaboard covers the full spectrum. At the Brothers, vertical walls drop into the blue, where hammerhead schools patrol the deeper water and grey reef sharks hug the current-swept corners. The islands' hard and soft coral gardens are packed with snapper, surgeonfish, and trevallies, with the occasional thresher shark cruising past. Daedalus Reef stands alone in open water, a lighthouse marking the spot where hammerheads gather in numbers. Summer months bring manta rays to the cleaning stations. Further south, Elphinstone is the realm of the oceanic whitetip: bold, curious, and unforgettable. Currents here run strong, turning dives into exhilarating drifts along the reef edge with your guide keeping pace.
St. John's is the southern jewel. Its reefs are among the healthiest in the whole Red Sea, with dramatic drop-offs, pinnacles, canyons, and tunnels carved through the limestone. Hard corals dominate, and the marine life is prolific: barracuda formations, reef sharks on every wall, and the occasional pod of dolphins. Turtles are common, and mantas sometimes appear from the blue. The remote location means fewer boats and cleaner water. Fury Shoals, further north, is a vast reef system with some of Egypt's most pristine coral gardens, shallow enough for extended bottom times, rich enough to rival any site in the region.
Elba Reef lies further south still, a true frontier destination closer to Sudan than to any Egyptian port. Its isolation has preserved exceptionally healthy coral formations and dramatic drop-offs that plunge from plateaus at 20 metres down to 45 metres and beyond. Here, grey reef sharks and hammerheads patrol the blue. A unique highlight is the wreck of the Italian cargo ship Levanzo, which rests between 22 and 75 metres and has transformed into a spectacular artificial reef attracting moray eels, groupers, and colourful reef fish. Elba offers something precious in modern diving: a sense of discovery. The reef sees minimal diver traffic, so every dive feels like an expedition into the unknown.
The boat returns to Port Ghalib on the afternoon of the penultimate day, giving you time to relax, log dives, and pack at a comfortable pace.

The routine aboard the Seawolf Dominator liveaboard is built around an intensive Red Sea dive schedule, with divers typically completing up to 4 daily descents. The day’s events are clearly defined by the diving: a light pre-breakfast is taken before the first dive, followed by a full, hot breakfast after you surface. Lunch precedes the third dive, and afternoon snacks are served before the final descent of the day. Dinner, which is always finished with a delicious ice cream, is served after the night dive, providing a structured yet highly active daily cycle.
Meals are served buffet style and can be enjoyed in the air-conditioned saloon on the main deck, or al-fresco on the upper deck. The cuisine is largely international, appealing to varied tastes, but includes welcoming elements of local Arabic cuisine.
The breakfast spread is substantial, featuring items like pancakes, toast, pita bread, jam, honey, and eggs prepared in different variations, along with yogurt, Nescafe, and tea.
For lunch and dinner, you can anticipate hearty main courses of chicken, beef, or fish, consistently accompanied by sides such as rice, pasta, potatoes, and various vegetables and salads. Desserts include fresh fruit, pudding, or cake.
To maintain energy between dives, snacks like homemade cakes, chocolate bars, and biscuits are available on the Seawolf Dominator all day, alongside complimentary mineral water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee.
The board service begins with dinner on the first evening and ends with breakfast on the final morning.
