The foundation of a Red Sea dive trip begins with the choice of liveaboard, and the 37-metre long Snefro Love liveaboard provides a robust starting point. As one of the largest vessels in the Green Fins-certified King Snefro Fleet, the yacht focuses on a high standard of operation, which is evidenced by its ISO certification. This commitment to quality has been formally recognised by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, which awarded the operator a 'Certificate of Appreciation' in recognition of its role in enriching the tourism industry.
The capacity is deliberately kept low at a maximum of 20 guests, ensuring spaciousness throughout the 3 decks. Built in 2010 and recently modernised with a 2020 refit, the wooden-hulled Snefro Love offers a variety of staterooms, including twin, double, and a Master Suite. Every room features air-conditioning, a private bathroom, and an electronic safe. Double bed cabins further include a minibar.
For divers, Snefro Love is perfectly positioned to visit the Sinai Peninsula of the Red Sea's most sought-after sites. Typical cruises take in the historic SS Thistlegorm wreck, the diverse ecosystems of the Ras Mohamed National Park, and the spectacular reef formations of the Straits of Tiran. The boat is secured by extensive safety equipment, including life rafts, fire extinguishers, and emergency oxygen, complemented by modern navigation tools like radar and GPS.
Diving functionality is a key strength of the Snefro Love liveaboard. The generously sized dive deck allows for organised kitting up, supported by 2 fresh-water showers and 2 bathrooms. Compressors are housed below deck for quiet operation. Furthermore, certified divers can benefit from free nitrox, a valuable inclusion for maximising bottom time across the trips.
Socialising and dining take place across several well-kept areas. The chefs serve a wide range of buffet-style meals, incorporating Italian, Egyptian, and international cuisine in the main dining area. Snacks, fruit, and beverages are continuously available to sustain divers between activities. Guests can unwind in Snefro Love's air-conditioned saloon, which features entertainment facilities, or enjoy the external sea air on one of the three partially-shaded outdoor decks.
Combining comfortable living, professional dive support, and reliable operator experience, the Snefro Love liveaboard offers a high-value passage to the core diving attractions of the Sinai Peninsula.
There are 10 cabins on Snefro Love - 7 twin bed cabins (7-8 sqm) on the lower deck, 1 queen-size double bed Master suite (12 sqm) on the main deck, and 2 queen-size double bed cabins (9 sqm) on the upper deck, which have large windows and superior views over the Red Sea.

Core Days
This northern Red Sea’s Sinai Classic route, expertly navigated by the Snefro Love, promises an intense blend of pelagic action and historical scuba exploration. We dedicate time to the exposed pinnacles of the Straits of Tiran. The 4 renowned reefs - Jackson, Thomas, Woodhouse, and Gordon Reef - ascend dramatically from the deep, attracting massive schools of trevally, snapper, and barracuda which thrive in the nutrient-rich currents. The walls of these reefs are spectacularly covered in immense gorgonian sea fans and brightly coloured soft corals, making for truly memorable drift dives and high chances of encountering ocean-going sharks.
A core focus of the tour is the world-famous Ras Mohamed National Park. Here, the currents converge at the legendary Shark Reef and Yolanda Reef, offering exhilarating wall diving along pristine coral structures. Divers explore the Shark Observatory and the debris field of the Yolanda shipwreck, often encountering resident Napoleon wrasse and large schools of reef fish. We also dive other park sites such as Ras Za'atar, Ras Ghazlani, Jackfish Alley, and Marsa Bareika, known for pristine coral gardens and resident turtles. Shallower exploration around the Eel Garden, Anemone City, and The Quay showcases the vibrant macro and reef life.
The expedition includes deep dives into history at some of the Red Sea's most compelling shipwrecks. The legendary SS Thistlegorm Wreck, a WWII military transport, provides an unparalleled historical experience, with trucks and motorbikes still visible in its holds. Nearby, you will explore the coral-encrusted Dunraven wreck and the remains of the Kingston Wreck at Shag Rock or Sha'ab Ali. Local diving around Sha'ab Mahmoud and the Temple or Ras Katy offers a peaceful alternative to the exposed pinnacles, perfect for seeking out blue-spotted stingrays and scorpionfish. The dedicated crew aboard the Snefro Love ensures you safely access the best of the Northern Red Sea.
Day 8
After awakening in the marina, you will enjoy a final breakfast before disembarking from the Snefro Love at New Marina.

The daily schedule aboard the Snefro Love liveaboard is perfectly calibrated to the demands of a certified Red Sea diver, focusing on consistent energy and maximum time underwater, supported by a full board service that includes 3 tasty meals and 2 snacks during the day. The typical day includes 3 to 4 dives, with the final plunge being the night dive. The routine is structured so a first dive follows a light pre-breakfast. Once back on deck, a proper, hot breakfast is served before you prepare for the second dive, continuing the ‘dive, refuel, dive’ pattern. Lunch is then served buffet style in the main air-conditioned saloon. An afternoon dive is quickly followed by a welcome snack, preparing you for the final descent of the day.
The evening dining experience is a highlight of the Snefro Love liveaboard. Dinner is served after the night dive, giving you something substantial to look forward to once the diving is done. The buffet is expansive, focusing on variety to appeal to every appetite, including international and Italian cuisine alongside incredible Arabic delicacies. You might find hearty options such as roast chicken, beef, or fresh fish dishes, while the regional specialities could feature warm Arabic stews, fresh salads, and locally inspired desserts.
To ensure you stay energised between sittings, snacks are continuously available throughout the day, including fresh fruit, cakes, candy bars, biscuits, and toast. Hydration is also complimentary, with plenty of drinking water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Should you fancy an evening refreshment, you can purchase espresso or local alcoholic beverages at a modest extra cost.
The crew on the Snefro Love is experienced in accommodating special dietary requests, including vegan, vegetarian, and Halal diets, provided you inform them well in advance. We do advise that divers with severe allergies bring any necessary specialised products and emergency medication, as readily-available lactose-free or gluten-free items are uncommon in the region.
