Cabins

Serenity is a 33m yacht that operates diving tours to the best sites in the Red Sea. It is managed by a PADI 5-Star IDC Dive Center whose priority is to provide a safe, pleasurable, and enjoyable liveaboard experience. Its founders are passionate divers themselves with 20 years of experience under their belt of diving in in Egypt.

The yacht operates an all-inclusive pricing policy with no hidden extras. It can accommodate 20 guests in lower-, and upper deck cabins with seaviews. Each cabin has its own private bathroom. The lounge section of the saloon has a TV, where guests can relax and watch a film from the onboard movie selection, or try their hand at PlayStation 5. The upper deck has a shaded, open air social area and a bar where guests can enjoy a drink or two after each day of diving. The partially shaded sun deck is equipped with plenty of sun loungers, bean bags and lounge seating.

Tasty meals are served in the dining section of the air-conditioned saloon. When it comes to dining on the Serenity liveaboard with an open buffet, it's all about the experience. Imagine cruising along the crystal-clear waters, enjoying the stunning views of the Red Sea while indulging in an array of delicious dishes. You can sample traditional dishes from the region or opt for international cuisine.

Serenity uses 2 dinghies with 70 HP outboard engines to transport divers to the sites, each equipped with ladders. Nitrox is provided free of charge for suitably certified divers. On a tour boat where small details matter, the dive guides are highly trained to provide a superior guest experience, and the diving equipment used onboard is impeccably maintained. The dive deck also has 2 additional bathrooms for guest convenience.

Notes: Child policy: No children under the age of 4 will be allowed on the boat. Children over the age of 4 years and up to 15 years must be supervised by at least one parent or designated responsible adult at all times.

Dive experience: We strongly recommend a minimum of 20 logged dives for the north route and 50 dives for the south route. Divers may be excluded from particular dives or the itinerary may be altered due to insufficient experience, at the discretion of the dive guides. Guests who have not been diving for 1 year or longer should complete a scuba-review, signed in their logbook before the trip.

Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation with air-conditioning, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, water, soft drinks, hot drinks, round trip transfers from local airport (see below), port and park fees, dives (as detailed in the trips above), nitrox fills for certified enriched air divers, 2 experienced English-speaking divemasters, tanks (DIN and adapter), weightbelt and weights, all taxes.

Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Scuba equipment (incl. dive computer and SMB: US$ 43 per week). Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash - EUR/EGP/USD, or credit/debit card).

Optional extras: Diving insurance (purchasable onboard), torch (US$ 5 per day), special tanks (US$ 16 per day). Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival. Note: prices of items purchased onboard are subject to change.

How to get there: Serenity liveaboard tours use either the Marriott Hurghada Marina or Port Ghalib as their operating port. The local airport is either Hurghada (HRG) or Marsa Alam (RMF) airport. Minibus transfers are provided from the local airport. Transfer times depend on guest arrival and departure times. For more details, including airlines, visit our Egypt travel information section.
The first and last nights of the trip are spent in port. Guests board on the first day at or after 6 pm. The last dive of the tour will be about 11 am on the penultimate day. Guests disembark at 8 am on the final day. Please wait at least 24 hours (longer than recommended by diving agencies) before flying after diving.

Non-diver rate: 5% discount.

Single supplement (if you do not want to share accommodation): This is optional - single travellers may choose to share a cabin, or pay a supplement of 80% for their own cabin.

Dive clubs and group discounts: Pay for 10 guests and 1 additional person can join the cruise free of charge (total 11 or more guests).

Whole boat charter rate (per night): 25% discount on individual prices.

Add-on package: We recommend some of the wonderful antiquities tours in Egypt to add an extra dimension to your Red Sea diving holiday. Cairo museum's royal mummies, the pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, a glorious cruise down the Nile staying in a luxury cabin, the Valley of the Kings, all of these and more can be added to your travel itinerary to make it a once-in-a-lifetime Egyptian adventure. Other activities such as 4x4 desert safaris, birding tours, and camel rides are also available.
