Day 1
You may board the liveaboard in the afternoon, settle into your cabin, and prepare your equipment. A full boat briefing will be held on the first day once all guests are aboard. Dinner will be served in the evening, and the vessel will remain moored in the harbour overnight, departing the following morning.
Days 2-7
Your liveaboard trips starts with a check-out dive at Shaab Eshara, followed by the first day dives and a night dive. The next morning starts with a dive at Abu Galawa West, and continues with a 2nd dive at Abu Galawa East, 3rd dive will be at Malahi, and the 4th (night dive) at Amphoras. Sail overnight to Rocky Island. Tucked away in the far reaches of Egypt’s southern Red Sea, Rocky Island is a remote, wave-battered outpost that offers some of the most exhilarating diving in the region. Just 5 km southeast of Zabargad Island, this tiny speck of land measuring only 540 metres across punches well above its weight when it comes to underwater drama. The Red Sea Aggressor V will visit North East Rocky, South West Rocky, North West Rocky, and South East Rocky. Sail to Zabargad Island for the night dive and overnight stay.
Carved from the Earth's deepest fury, Zabargad isn’t your average sun-drenched paradise, it’s a Leviathan of stone and mystery, forged under crushing tectonic might. Long before scuba divers ever strapped on fins, ancient miners trekked here, lured by whispers of green fire hidden in its black rock: peridot, glittering deep within peridotite veins. Legends say Cleopatra herself wore stones torn from this very earth. Thanks to strict protections from the marine national park, nature runs the show. No crowds. No chatter. Just the raw hum of a world still ruled by salt, stone, and story.
The itinerary on this liveaboard continues with dives at Abu Bassala, Gota’a Mymora, Fendira Hamara, and Habili Wasta, and a night dive at Gota’a Wasta.
The next day will include diving at Habili Gaafar, Habili Ali, and Habily St. John Woods. Located at the eastern edge of the St. John’s reef system, Habili Ali is a submerged reef that never quite breaks the surface-making it a true hidden gem. Rising steeply from the depths of the open sea, this isolated pinnacle lies roughly 44 km from the Egyptian coast and 32 km southwest of Zabargad Island. After this thrilling underwater adventure you will sail to Dangerous Reef for your 4th day dive and another night dive.
On the penultimate day you'll enjoy a morning dive at Habili Abu Wassef, and a 2nd dive at White Rock. Sail back to Port Berenice; sunset party, dinner, and overnight onboard, will complete this unique itinerary.
Day 8
Disembark at Port Berenice after breakfast.
Red Sea South, St. John's & Elba Reef (8 Days / 7 Nights - 18 Dives)
Trip highlights: dolphins, manta rays, turtles, schooling fish & big pelagics
Diving environment: advanced divers, caverns, drift diving, healthy reefs, very popular, wall diving
Dive sites and activities: Sernaka, Elba Reef North, Elba Reef South, Wreck of Levanzo, Abu Fendira, St. John's. Exploration Day 4 returning north between Elba Reef and Abu Fendira Reef.
Day 1
You’ll step aboard the liveaboard in the afternoon, stow your gear, and ready your dive kit for the journey ahead. Once all adventurers are assembled, a full vessel briefing will set the scene for the days to come. As evening falls, dinner will be served, and the boat will spend one final night moored in the harbour, ready to cast off at first light and head into open waters.
Days 2-7
Your liveaboard trips starts with a check-out dive at Sernaka Island, followed by the first day dive at Il Kamash wreck and a night dive. Lying quietly on the seabed south of Sernaka Island in Egypt’s Foul Bay, Il Kamash is a wreck steeped in mystery and maritime misfortune. Once a humble fishing trawler, this 34-metre-long, 8-metre-wide vessel met its end under dramatic circumstances, caught in a sudden shift of wind while anchored, its nets reportedly tangled in the propeller just as the crew tried to escape danger. Unable to manoeuvre, the ship was swept onto the reef and sank, its final moments lost to time.
The next day on this liveaboard cruise with Red Sea Aggressor V will be spent on beautiful day-dives and a night at Elba Reef and the Levanzo wreck, a standout feature 113-metre Italian cargo ship, that sank in 1923. Now an artificial reef, it teems with moray eels, groupers, and vibrant reef fish.
On the 3rd day you'll be diving the whole day, as well as a night dive at Elba Reef. Straddling the Egyptian-Sudanese maritime border, Elba Reef is a rarely visited, triangle-shaped reef system that offers a truly wild diving experience. Accessible only with special permission from the Egyptian Navy, this remote site is a dream for seasoned divers seeking untouched coral gardens, thrilling drop-offs, and encounters with big pelagics.
The safari will spend the 4th day with exploration of 4 new dive sites, none of which will disappoint even the most discerned diver.
Habili Gaafar, Habili Ali, and Habili St. John Woods are your dive sites on the next day. Nestled within the heart of the St. John’s reef system, Habili Gafaar is a submerged pinnacle that never breaks the surface, making it a hidden treasure for experienced divers. Rising steeply from depths exceeding 100 metres, this compact reef is just 30 metres across at its shallowest point, lying a mere 3 metres below the surface. Sail to Dangerous Reef for 4th and night dive.
Day 6 of the liveaboard itinerary will take you to Abu Fendira South and North, and on a night dive. Tucked away near the Sudanese border, Abu Fendira is a remote 7 km chain of reefs that stretches from west to east like a submerged string of pearls. Rarely visited and largely untouched, this region offers a truly pristine diving experience for those willing to venture far off the beaten path.
Abu Fendira Fogani will be the scene for 2 morning dives on the final full day and then the Aggressor will start sailing back to Port Berenice; sunset party then dinner onboard and overnight at port.
Day 8
Disembark after breakfast in Port Berenice.
