Once all guests are on board, a boat briefing will be conducted in the air-conditioned saloon, along with the necessary trip paper work. You will meet your fellow cruise guests over dinner on this first evening. The liveaboard yacht will leave the marina early on the following morning.
Core Days
This 'Sinai Classic' route is a popular option for those scuba divers wanting to visit the very best sites of the Sinai Peninsula. The world famous Thistlegorm was a World War II ship, bombed by the Germans while delivering a cargo of ammunition and war materials. With its cargo machinery and equipment all neatly stowed in its open holds, this wreck would be a highlight of a diving tour anywhere in the world. You will also dive the famous reefs of the Strait of Tiran: Woodhouse, Jackson, Thomas and Gordon. These magnificent formations rise up from the depths and are often frequented by large pelagic fish, including hammerhead sharks, due to the abundance of currents. Ras Mohamed National Park is renowned for its breath-taking walls adorned with gorgonians and soft corals that are frequented by large schools of snapper, tuna and trevallies. Turtles, crocodilefish, blue-spotted sting rays, scorpionfish and lionfish are always around in this diving paradise.
You can expect 4 dives per day on full diving days, with 3 dives provided on the penultimate day, before the boat heads back to port.
Delicious meals will appeal to everyone’s appetite and taste, involving Italian and international cuisine, plus incredible Arabic delicacies. Meals are served buffet style in the dedicated dining area in the saloon on the main deck. A pre-breakfast, breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks will each be served and followed by dives. Dinner is served after the night dive. Biscuits, candy bars, toast, cakes and fruit are available throughout the day. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and chilled drinking water will keep divers hydrated.
Day 8
Awake in the marina and check out after a final breakfast. You may disembark any time until 12 noon before being transferred either to the airport or your local hotel.
