The 36m Red Sea Aggressor I brings a touch of American hospitality to the Red Sea, a destination long considered a favourite among European scuba divers. You can join 7 night diving safaris on this 36m liveaboard out of Egypt's Port Ghalib, taking in the best of the Red Sea's southern dive sites.
Up to 20 guests can be accommodated on the steel-hulled Red Sea Aggressor I in 10 double or twin share ensuite staterooms. Socialising takes place in the large and comfortable saloon/dining area on the main deck of the liveaboard. This comes complete with TV, DVD, music system and computer. Connectivity is limited to email via satellite phone. Guests often like to hang out here to watch movies or read books and magazines. Alternatively you can chill out on the partially covered sundeck with ever-changing views of the southern Red Sea.
Nitrox is available for purchase so you can extend those bottom times on the finest Red Sea dive sites. Photographers will appreciate the photo and video center, and the dive deck's camera table and camera rinse tank.
Safety is emphasised with the provision of 'Nautilus lifeline' lost diver devices and the mandatory use of dive computers. There is even an on-board masseuse to help rub away the strains of the day. Note: You are advised to bring a completed diving medical history questionnaire with you. If you do not bring a completed copy of this form with you to the yacht, you will be required to complete it onboard.
Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation with air-conditioning, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, water, soft drinks and hot drinks, local wine and beer, return transfers to the boat from the local airport, dives (as detailed in the trips above), experienced English-speaking divemaster(s), tanks, weights and weightbelts.
Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Dive computer US$ 60 per week, port and park fee US$ 150, restaurant meal on final evening. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash or credit card - note 14% VAT for onboard purchases).
Optional extras: Scuba equipment (complete set US$ 175 for the week, no wetsuits for rent), nitrox (7 nights - US$ 100), Nautilus Lifeline US$ 25 per week, dive insurance, torch US$ 8 per night. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash or credit card).
How to get there: Red Sea Aggressor I liveaboard charters depart from Port Ghalib. Transfers are included on the start and end dates from Marsa Alam airport to the departure point. There are flights from Cairo to Marsa Alam (1.5 hours) with Egypt Air. From some airports in the UK and Europe, it is possible to fly into Marsa Alam direct. For more details visit our Red Sea travel information section. The first and last nights of the tour are spent in the harbour. Guests arrive and board on the first day. The boat leaves the harbour on the morning of the second day. Full tourist visas are available only at the airport for citizens of certain countries, unless obtained in advance. Please ensure you understand the tourist visa requirements that apply to you. The last dive of the trip will be at around 12:00 hrs on the second last day. Please wait at least 18 hours before flying after diving.
Non-diver rate: US$ 200 off the full published price.
Single supplement (if you do not want to share accommodation): This is optional - single travellers may choose to share a cabin or pay a supplement of 65% of the normal published price.
Dive clubs and group discounts: Pay for 7 guests and 1 additional person can join the cruise in a Deluxe twin share stateroom free of charge (8 guests or more). Pay for 10 guests and 3 additional persons can join the cruise in a Deluxe twin share stateroom free of charge (13 guests or more). See whole boat charter rate below, which is equivalent to pay for 15 guests and 5 additional persons can join in a Deluxe twin share stateroom free of charge (20 guests).

There are 10 staterooms on this Egyptian liveaboard: 7 Deluxe twin bed staterooms with 2 single beds side by side on the lower deck and 3 Master staterooms with queen bed (2 on the upper deck, 1 on the main deck). All the staterooms have en-suite bathrooms.

All meals on the Red Sea Aggressor I are prepared using the freshest ingredients. Breakfast and lunch are buffet-style. Breakfast consists of cereals, juice, fresh fruits and hot entrees. Lunch includes fresh soups and homemade breads and desserts. Dinner is a plated served affair. Note that dinner on the final evening takes place ashore.
International and Egyptian cuisine; 3 to 4 different dishes per sitting
Main meals consist of breakfast, lunch and dinner, with snacks in between.
The menus are fixed and breakfast and lunch are served buffet style, dinner is served in the air-conditioned restaurant on the upper deck.
Snacks include candy bars, biscuits, fruit and fresh afternoon snacks.
Tea, coffee, soft drinks, drinking water, local beer and wine are free of charge.
All diets, including vegetarian and halal, can be catered for with prior notice.
