Obsession, at 33 metres long and with 4 decks, has earned its reputation through a meticulous combination of everything that makes a liveaboard great.

Operating from Marsa Alam, Obsession is finished with teak decks and the interiors and the dive deck are carefully planned with the liveaboard diver in mind, including nitrox facilities. Combined with a hull-design that effortlessly negotiates the waters to get scuba divers from one site to the next in speed, luxury and comfort, it's easy to see why diving trips in Egypt with the Obsession are such a pleasure.

The cabins on board Obsession feature either twin or double berths and each cabin has individually controlled air-conditioning with en-suite facilities, ensuring that feeling of privacy remains.

The common areas include the cool, airy and spacious saloon, which is equipped with the latest entertainment facilities in the form of a big-screen TV, DVD player, free 3G Wi-Fi, and a music centre to while away your time in between dives. The boat also features and open-air dining area and ample sun-deck and shaded spaces from which to enjoy the Red Sea scenery and sea air.

Obsession can accommodate 20 divers in 10 Standard cabins. The cabins consist of 8 twin cabins located on the lower deck, and 2 double cabins located on the upper deck. All the cabins have private en-suite bathroom facilities.

Snacks include biscuits and fruit which, together with tea & coffee and drinking water, are complimentary.
Soft drinks, beer, wine and other alcohol are available for purchase.
All diets, including vegetarian and halal, can be catered for with prior notice.
Catering begins with dinner on first day.

Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation with air-conditioning, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, water and hot drinks, experienced English-speaking divemasters (10 divers per DM), tanks, weights and weightbelts, nitrox fills for enriched air certified divers.

Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Scuba equipment, dive insurance, fuel surcharge. National park fees/permissions.
Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash or credit card).

Optional extras: Return transfers from Hurghada or Marsa Alam Airport to the liveaboard boat, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, torch, 15 litre tanks.

How to get there: The M/Y Obsession liveaboard trips depart from Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Port Ghalib and return transfers from Hurghada and Marsa Alam airports to the departure point can be arranged at additonal cost. Check in time starts 17:00 hrs on the first day (boat departs the next morning). Check out before 12:00 noon on the last day (last night usually on the boat in the harbour). Late arrivals or early departures can be arranged.
There are direct flights from Cairo to Hurghada and Marsa Alam with Egypt Air. Visit our Red Sea travel information section for more details. Guests arrive and board on the first day. The boat leaves the harbour on the morning of the second day. The last dive of the trip will be at around 13:00 hrs on the second last day of the trip. Please wait at least 18 hours before flying after diving.

Single supplement (if you do not want to share accommodation): This is optional - single travellers may choose to share a cabin or pay a supplement of 100% of the published price for your own cabin.

Whole boat charter rate (per night): Pay for 15.5 guests and 4.5 additional divers can join the cruise in Standard cabins free of charge (total 21 guests). For alternative trip prices please check with us.
