Red Sea RE Aggressor, formerly known as the Royal Evolution, is considered by many to be one of the finest Red Sea liveaboards there is. This 39m long steel mono-hulled motor yacht cuts an impressive figure cruising around the best dive sites of Sudan and the Deep South of the Egyptian Red Sea.

Up to 24 scuba divers can be comfortably accommodated in well-sized en-suite staterooms on this spacious vessel where 4 decks mean there is always plenty of room for everyone. The air-conditioned lounge and dining area is comfortably furnished and features TV, DVD, music system, and computer with photo and video editing. There is a variety of nightly entertainment, including diving or fish identification presentations, movies, games and more. There is also a small library of books for exchange onboard, as well as fish ID reference books.

Although the saloon is very comfortable, many guests prefer to relax in the open air areas. With facilities both on the sun deck and on the upper deck's open air shaded area, including music a bar and comfortable seating, it is little surprise. On the sun deck you can bronze yourself in the sun on chaise lounges, or take a cocktail with you from the bar into the hot tub. Other touches of luxury include a bathrobe, fresh daily pastries, hot afternoon snacks, and a cup of hot chocolate after each night dive.

Diving facilities include a spacious deck with individual storage spaces, camera table with 2 air hoses, charging station and a fresh water shower. 10, 12 and 15 litres tanks are filled in situ including air and enriched air nitrox, and staff are always on hand to make the diving procedure run smoothly. With 16 staff on hand to cater to your every need, the experience onboard the Red Sea RE Aggressor is one of luxury, comfort and style. Notes: You are advised to bring a completed diving medical history questionnaire with you. If you do not bring a completed copy of this form with you to the yacht, you will be required to complete it onboard.
The minimum age to scuba dive in the Red Sea is 15 years of age.

Dive experience: Egypt - Advanced Open Water Diver license and 50 logged dives is recommended, but ultimately each diver is responsible for deciding if they are fit and able to undertake each dive. Sudan - all divers must have a minimum of 50 dives logged dives to participate in the full itinerary. Divers with less than 50 dives but who hold an Advanced Open Water certification can join on a restricted basis - the dive staff will ask them to sit out particular sites with strong currents.

Cruise price per person includes: Cabin accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinking water, soft drinks, hot drinks, alcoholic drinks, return transfers to the boat from Marsa Alam Airport and selected hotels, dives (as detailed in the trips above), experienced English speaking guides (3 per full trip), tanks, weight and weightbelts.

Cruise price per person excludes (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Scuba equipment (complete set incl dive computer and night light US$ 225 per week), port and park fees: Egypt - US$ 150 +VAT, Sudan - local taxes US$ 605, entry visa (US$ 310 for USA citizens, US$ 260 for all other nationals), Sudan fuel surcharge (standard: US$ 100, Deep South: US$ 168) .Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival (cash - EUR, USD, GBP, EGP - or credit card, only cash for Sudan trips).

Optional extras: Nitrox (Egypt - US$ 100, Sudan - US$ 200), dive insurance, limited quantity of 15 litre tanks, restaurant meal on final evening. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival.

How to get there: The Red Sea RE Aggressor departs from the marina at Port Ghalib on all cruises and return transfers are provided from Marsa Alam Airport and the hotels: Silva Port Ghalib, Palace Port Ghalib or Marina Lodge. Check-in time starts at 3 pm on the first day before dinner (boat departs 6-9 pm, depending on the port authorities). Transfers to/from Hurghada can be arranged in advance. The last dive of the trip will be at around 11 am on the second last day of the trip. Please wait at least 18 hours before flying after diving.
Egypt trips - The yacht returns to Port Ghalib between 2-4 pm on the penultimate day. A sunset cocktail party will be held then guests may go ashore for dinner at one of the restaurants at Port Ghalib, or go shopping and hav a drink. Check out at 8 am on the last day.
Sudan trips - The yacht returns to Port Ghalib at 10 am on the final day. The staff will take care of immigration formalities and then you can check out at 12 noon. Note: due to Sudan visa processing regulations, no reservation may be made less than 30 days prior to departure date.

Non-diver rate: US$ 200 off the full published price (does not apply to specials).

Single supplement (if you do not want to share accommodation): This is optional - single travellers may choose to share a cabin, or pay a supplement of 65% of the published price for their own cabin.

Dive clubs and group discounts: Egypt trips: pay for 5 guests and 1 additional person can join the cruise in a Deluxe stateroom free of charge; pay for 9 guests and 3 additional persons can join free of charge. Sudan trips: pay for 7 guests and 1 additional person can join the cruise free of charge; pay for 10 guests and 2 additional persons can join free of charge

Whole boat charter rate (per night): Egypt trips: pay for 18 guests and 6 additional persons can join the cruise in a Deluxe stateroom free of charge. Sudan trips: pay for 20 guests and 4 additional persons can join the cruise free of charge.
